L’OREAL TRUE MATCH GENIUS 4 IN 1 FOUNDATION REVIEW SWATCHES

HELLO MY ANGELS,

Its been a while since I reviewed any foundation based products. I was not keeping well since few days. With the rainy season around I think this is the only time of year which really scares me. But now I am recovering and so I decided to finally review this amazing new products from L'oreal. This is just recently launched in India its with me since few days but never really got a chance to talk about it hopefully I will be able to post soon. So from this new range I picked up True Match Genius 4 IN 1 Foundation and 3 Genius Balm lipsticks. I know you all must be excited to know more about this lipsticks so I will be reviewing them on my next post.

There are hardly any drugstore foundation which are cream based and convenient to use. So my only motive to pick this foundation was easy to apply easy to use easy to carry and just saving lot of time.

So this 4in1 foundation comes in a rectangular plastic sleek compact. With a half size mirror inside and a sponge applicator. I picked up N1 Nude Ivory shade which is for fair skin having warm tones. I don’t prefer applying them with sponge applicator as most of the applicator takes a whole lot of product and very less is transferred on skin.

This is a cream based thick foundation which also act as primer concelar and powder. So its like all in one and you may not need anything else over this. Its a medium coverage foundation. And if you have oily skin I would say that you need to put some loose powder. Well this is good for dry and normal to combination skin. It blends easily into skin. I usually blend it with my fingers or flat brush or even oval spoon brushes. You can easily build the product for getting full coverage. This foundation gives semi matte finish but doesn’t make you look dull it just brightens and gives natural glow. It covers the pores redness and most of the marks. It evens out my skin tone well. You can also use them under your eyes for concealing by just taping it. As I have a combination skin after few hrs I did notice that my T-zone was shiny. So if you want complete matte look you probably need to dust some loose powder. But if you like some dewy look this much shine wont bother you. I am not a fan of flat matte look so I loved this cream formula. It doesn’t clog my pores. It’s a great product to carry in your bag its so easy to get a touch up.

I am happy with the shade it goes well on my skin. I am really impressed with the formula its something we all need to have. Its like you can have your foundation on the go. There are many shades available for different skin tones so you can try them and find a perfect match for your skin.

KIEHLS MASQUE with complimentary FACE WASH

Recently I have been tossing my skin care products and making some changes into my routine. Inspite of being such a damp humid weather I have started using Clarins Lotus Face Oil which is working amazing. So like every season I need my skin care products accordingly because your skin changes with every summer every winter and every rainy. So make sure you using right amount of moisturiser and right products for you skin. If it causes you more breakouts, oiliness or dullness or even small whitheads its time to make changes. Definitely I will be talking more about my skin care products but firstly I picked up this Newly launched Kiehls Turmeric and Cranberry Radiance Masque. Who doesn’t want a good clay masque in their routine. I have been really looking for a great masque which helps my skin give that extra boost of radiance. So here they have two masques one in orange jar and other one in green jar. The one in orange is for radiance it has turmeric and cranberry seed as the main ingredient. While the green one is for protecting your skin from pollution it has cilantro and orange as main ingredient.

So the energizing radiance masque is the one which will help you give that boost of radiance and getting back your skin glow. Turmeric is not only known for giving radiance to skin but also for its antibacterial properties. Now this masque comes of light yellow color with cranberry seeds. I really didn’t feel what was the use of cranberry seed here as its not a scrub and that granular seed how does it help. It’s a creamy masque so you may want to add some water or milk to make it thin paste and them apply. I like applying directly from the jar without adding anything to it. I feel the more thick the paste is it gives better result. Initially after application I felt little warmth in my skin. Nothing like burning or itching but there was just a sensation of warmth which made me feel that something is working on my skin. I kept for 15 mins and this warm sensation went away after few mins. I just washed of with water and here I got a very soft supple smooth skin. Also I noticed after washing face I didn’t felt much glow or brightening effect on my skin. But after 2 days I did feel my skin wash brighter glowy. And it had that energy. It really helps with fatigue and dull skin. I always like using scrub before the masque so my whiteheads and blackheads are completely removed. But just with the masque it doesn’t help clearing your whiteheads or black heads. It doesn’t cause any redness and irritation but if you have sensitive skin do a patch test on your side of neck. As this products are dermatologically tested you don’t have to worry. It doesn’t help in lightening any marks or blemishes and with acne skin it may sting little so be careful. May be after using complete jar I may get more satisfying results.

I got 28ml masque for 1350/-INR which makes it expensive. This may give you around 8 applications.

Recommended to all skin types. I won't say its totally worth it till I complete my jar. But some products really work well on some skin types. So this could give you more better results than mine. You can always go for smaller pack and try. It doesn’t dry out your skin or doesn’t reduce any oiliness but it definitely give you fresh and soft supple skin in just one use. OVERALL I am happy this masque does better job than many other clay masque. Looking forward to try their pollution defending masque too.

Hope you all having a great weekend. After a very long time which was actually not so long I went to check out some products at beauty store. To my surprise I found this amazing matte lipsticks at Maybelline counter. Well its almost rainy season and wasn’t expecting any new launch but here I found this color sensational vivid matte lipsticks and it totally made my day. For my disappointment there were only 4 shades available SCARLET RED, NEON PINK, VIOLET PINK, ROSY ORANGE and my heart said ohh I need some more shades to try.. I tried all the 4 shades on my lips and also swatched them on my hand there was only one shade which was standing out from the rest of 3 and that was VIVID 2 NEON PINK. This color was so eye catching that I couldn’t think of buying any other shade.

Neon Pink is bold bright cool tone pink. Its more blue based pink and its nothing like a warm based pinkie pink. It immediately brightens my face. This is a shade which really makes your lips grab all the attention. I definitely love bright and bold shades especially during this rainy gloomy days. There is season where you can carry off this shade very well. The packaging is similar to color sensational lipstick it comes in black matte tube and with semi sheer red cap. The shade name is written on bottom of the tube.

I was pretty impressed with the formula it contains jojoba oil which makes its so smooth in application and moisturizing to lips. The texture is so light on lips it was comfortable wearing them whole day. The formula is non drying because of it moisturising ingredients. I didn't felt the need of putting lipbalm prior to application of this lipstick. The pigmentation is too good color pay off is excellent. Doesn’t stain your lips. No smudging or feathering. This lipstick doesn’t settle into fine lines or cracks nor does it accentuate them. The finish is somewhere in between matte and semi matte. Glides effortlessly with even application on one stroke. Staying power is 4-5 hrs you need to touch up after eating or drinking. It doesn't transfer much.

Overall recommended I loved this semi matte formula it gives great coverage on even pigmented lips.

Price is quite reasonable and the formula is worth what you spend. They are available online I will link it down below. Also I would recommended vivid2 and vivid 3 shades they are totally worth trying.

Here I am with another review from Anastasia Beverly hills much excited about the NEW Glow Kit. They have launched 3 types of glow kits GLEAM, THAT GLOW AND SUN DIPPED I picked up Gleam glow kit which is more for fair to medium skin tones like me.

I found other two glow kits were more for medium to dark skin tone also for tanned warmer skin tones. Also used for bronzing face body to get sun kissed glow look.

This highlighter com in a cardboard palette with 4 four round pan shaped highlighter. You can easily remove them as their magnetic also you can place them in Z palette. I am not fan of cardboard palettes but here the powders are not so fragile so you can easily carry them while travelling. Also the gleam glow palette is great for softer skin tones.

The texture of the powder is so soft and buttery and applies so smoothly on face.

For increasing the intensity you can use them in wet form too. This powder are good in pigmentation. But nothing like The Balm Mary Lou Manizer. I applied two layered for desired glow.

The shades are impeccable I so loved HARD CANDY its something really different Its a Mood-changing golden peach with a pink pearl reflective finish.

Mimosa is like Radiant golden peach with a metallic finish.

Starburst is more like cool pink highlighter with an iridescent finish.

Crushed Pearl is Glimmering pink and silver with a crystalized chrome finish perfect for fair skin tones.

Crushed pearl is almost like silvery white very similar to Mary Lou Manizer its highly pigmented and you need very little on highlighted areas.

This highlighters are really gorgeous and can be used by every skin tone. I mean you have option of three palettes containing 4 highlighters each so you can really have one for yourself. The powder is finely milled and has a very subtle amount of shimmer. So you can easily layer them without having to look like a disco ball.

From celebrities to makeup artist and beauty gurus I have seen everyone using this palette. Its already cult favourite. Also you can use this shades for highlighting inner corner of eyes and on brow bone as well as eyehsadow. Its of 40USD and you get full size 4 highlighter which is whole lot of product and it can take years to complete them. After getting this kit You seriously never going to run out of highlighters. Staying power is almost 8-10 hrs. It gives lovely soft glow to skin. I completely love using highlighters Its one of those exciting products in you vanity where you eagerly waiting to put on. Even when I am not contouring or applying blush I make sure I have some highlighter on cheek for natural glowy face. The starlight highlighter has iridescent shimmer while crushed pearl is more like chrome though all highlighter add beautiful luminosity to your face they blend in so well.
Overall I completely recommend this Glow kit. There is a highlighter for every skin tone. The texture and formula is amazing. Very well pigmented. Loved the shades like crushed pearl and hard candy. they look beautiful on fair skin. Mimosa again its a gold highlighter almost reminds me of Becca Opal.
TIP- For more intensity you can apply them with damp beauty blender or brush.
