Hope my reviews are helping you to find out right products for yourself. This is going to be another lipstick review. Its from Maybelline color show range. I know this has been launched months back and now Maybelline has Re launched it again. I don’t know why they have relaunched it but I thought of getting this 3 beautiful shades from their range of 32 vivid shades. This 3 shades are candy crush, crushed candy and wine divine. This lipsticks are again most affording ones. They come in black plastic tube opaque packaging with shade name written on bottom. The cap shuts with click sound and its travel friendly.

Product claims-

Intense Fashionable Lip Color. Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is a fashionable intense lipstick, which comes in chic to vivid shades. Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is highly pigmented giving bold lips.

This lipsticks are super moisturizing and glide smoothly on lips. Very well pigmented and feels light on lips. The texture is soft buttery giving even application. They don’t smudge or smear. It does no give complete opacity light colors are bit sheer. They give glossy finish and are transferrable. All lipsticks smell like sweet candy which is quite pleasing.

You may need 3-4 swipes to build the color. If you have pigmented lips I wouldn’t suggest this lipsticks as they do not give completely opaque lips. This lipstick does not give dry feeling to lips after application they don’t settle in fine lines and lip creases. If you lips are dark and chapped do exfoliate before using this lipsticks. Staying power is for 3 hrs as they are quite glossy finish it doesn’t last long it barely leaves a tint of color.

The only con I felt was I wish this lipsticks were more pigmented and opaque. So that it would give a flawless finish to lips. Overall the shades are really amazing you get lot of options to choose from. I liked how reasonably they are priced. But the packaging does not attract me at all they don’t look like other Maybelline lipsticks. I am not so impressed with the formula too.

Crushed candy is pink color having sheen its light shade an so will mostly suit only fair skin tones. It has got some very fine shimmer particles which gives sheen effect to pink color.

Cherry crush it’s a perfect cherry color having some coral tones but quite sheer suitable for all skin tones. This fade away leaving a pink tint to lips.

Wine divine Haven’t bought such colour in long time. It’s a dark bold pretty wine shade having more of brown tones. Suitable for all skin tones. This one can be used by pigmented lips too. As it is rich in pigmentation. No doubt they are super hydrating to lips.
Overall recommended colors are really good and are very affordable. Maybelline is one of the best affording drugstore brands so quality is definitely good. If you have pigmented lips try to choose darker shades as they are more pigmented than the lighter ones.

HOW TO DO STROBING

Strobing?? Everyone is wondering what exactly it is and how its different from contouring. Strobing is basically just highlighting your face. Its nothing new to it but we going to try something called as intense highlighting. Strobing is a latest makeup technique and everyone is talking about it that its going to replace contouring. For me actually nothing can really replace contouring but Strobing is something which you can use on daily basis and its also useful when you don’t have time to contour. And that’s quite practical because we really don’t contour our face on everyday basis Rite? So you can start Strobing. I personally have started using this technique recently and some what I am loving it. Lets find out does it give us same results like contouring and if so how should you do it. Hope this steps help you get the look.

Steps-

-Firstly I prepd my skin using makeup forever Hd primer.

-Then I took Maybelline Dream lumi highlighting concealar and applied all over my highlighting points like cheekbones, bridge of nose, center of forehead, my chin and Cupids bow I just blended it with my beauty blender you can even use your fingers .

-Then I went on with my makeup forever Hd foundation you can even add few drops of your routine skin care serum but if u have combination to oily I don’t recommend doing this. Blend foundation into the skin using kabuki flat brush from sigma.

-Take some concealer I have use La Pro girl Hd conceal under my eyes in triangular shape and around the corners of my lips and nose. You can use beauty blender or fingers to dabb concelar. Set it with some loose powder. I prefer Ben Nye Banana Powder

-Now go on with some highlighter Mary Lou Manizer on all points where you have put your Maybelline Dream Lumi touch Hd concealer. Add some blush on your cheeks.

-Apply some mascara on upper or lower lash line I have use L’Oreal miss manga voluminous . And also you can add some highlighter to the inner corner of eyes.

-Get some light pink color lipstick and dab some highlighter on Centre of lips and to your brow point. I have used RIMMEL Kate Moss lipstick in no. 28.

You will love this Strobing effect as it makes your face look so fresh and your skin gets that luminous glow. Definitely it cannot replace contouring but it does some help in getting some what contour look. You can customise look according to what your favorite products are. Its really easy to get this look and once you get acquainted with it, it won't take much of your time. So go ahead and try this new Strobing technique. Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss Review

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. By now you all must be knowing my obsession with lipsticks I just love to have them no matter if its from drugstore or high end brand. Its like you can make your day good by just putting your favourite lipsticks haha!!!

Recently I got 3 lipsticks from Rimmel London for all those who don’t know it’s a drugstore brand of London which is available almost everywhere. I find Rimmel as a brand with lot of fun colors in the most reasonably priced. Their nail paints are so popular and so is their scandal eyes. Rimmel match perfection foundation is also one of the best drugstore foundation which I will be reviewing in my coming posts. This lipsticks are by Kate moss and come in two types of packaging one has red lipstick tube which I believe to be matte.. and other are in Black packaging which are more of long lasting moisturising lipsticks.

109 is the shade no. in red tube this is a perfect warm peachy orange for fair to medium skin tones for darker tones it can be more like orangy nude. This shade is great for day to day routine its more like office wear color. They glide smoothly on lips without having to tug or pull. More of a creamy matte in texture this are not much moisturizing and stays on for 6 hrs without any smudging or feathering. You need to apply lipbalm as after application this are bit drying on lips. They do transfer but not completely.

Applies evenly on lips. Very well pigmented 1-2 swipes enough for opacity.

The only con about this particular lipstick is the fragrance which i personally didn't like but it doesn’t last much and its very mild.

There are two lipsticks which I got in this range one is in no.28 and other is in no. 90. This one are glossy finish and give opacity in just 1-2 swipes. The texture is very smooth and soft feels light on lips. Color payoff is good. They are not much long lasting stays on for 2-3 hrs. It has got fruit flavoured candy like smell which is not lasting. This lipsticks are moisturizing to lips and i don't feel need to apply lipbalm. This lipsticks are transferable however they don't smudge or budge.

No. 28 is more of a candy pink having specks of shimmer which makes it frosty pink. On application quite smooth moisturizing but the shimmer doesn’t come off after removing the lipsticks.

No. 90 is bright beautiful pink color which Is great color if you love bright shades. It has got warm tones so it can go on every skin tone.

Overall recommended they are very affording lipsticks and have great number of shades. I wish this lipsticks had names as no. is quite confusing. I am quite happy with the shades and getting such quality at good price. This shades are really different from the other brands. I would definitely repurchase Rimmel lipsticks.
