MY RECENT TOP 5 LIPSTICK PICK

So I was going through my lipstick stash and I found out my top 5 current lipstick picks. This lipsticks I have been using a lot for a while and would continue using it till i get something better to replace this. But if you gals want to know my favorite lipstick picks every month I would be doing that too.

So lets find out what I am currently obsessing over...

5 lipstick shades and they all are nude to neutral to warm berry tones almost like everyday basic shades. This shades are amazing for fair to medium and dark skin tones. So whatever skin tone you have got you can pick any of this shade for your everyday routine.

Recently I have been loving this kind of shades much I also try and mix and match this shades. I feel this shades not only go on every outfit but also on many skin tones. I will be also putting down some more lipstick names which is not included in this post but are quite similar to my current favourite lipsticks.

1)SERENITY HYDRA MATTE LIPSTICK FROM GERARD COSMETICS

This is one of my the favorite of all I have been using a lot of this it’s a warm nude which can go on any outfit any time of day and likely to go on fair to medium skin tones. If you love liquid mattes then this one has one of the best formula and texture.

2) PEACH ME LIP CRAYON FROM FACES
OHH!! I love the texture, coverage, color pay off everything about this lip crayon moreover this shade is something you must have it .. Its a shade for every skin tone. Trust me you gonna love it.

TAFFY

3)TAFFY CREAM LIPSTICK FROM TOO FACED

Its super luxurious rich creamy lipstick. A nude having pink tone. Can go on fair skin tones and even on dusky tones. I love applying this lipstick over some liquid mattes like serenity or MEHR from MAC. They are super hydrating and moisturising to lips.

DOLLED UP BY REVLON

4)DOLLED UP SUPER LUSTROUS MATTE LIPSTICK FROM REVLON

It’s a very recent pick by me. Revlon has this super lustrous lipstick in matte form I loved this shade though it has some simmer in it which is not so visible yet helps in giving some sheen. It’s matte very light texture can go on every skin tone. It’s a dusty rose having brown tones. Feels very light and soft on lips. Gives good coverage. Very similar to Mac Mehr lipstick.

NUDE BALLET 1ST RT

5) NUDE BALLET LE EXTRAORDINARIE from L’OREAL

I don’t know why but I am loving gloss this days so this is a perfect nude gloss. Its opaque rich and gives your lips that plump. Quite hydrating you can just put this gloss over any neutral lip color too. Not everyone can carry of this shade so do try them before getting it.

So this are my recent favorite lipstick. I not only love mixing this shades but I like experimenting with different textures. There are many more shades like MAC Mehr, Mac Twig, Berry Smoothie by Gerard cosmetics, Wild berry tart again by Gerard Cosmetics, GRRR by the balm cosmetics.

L’OREAL HYDRAFRESH HYDRATION+ANTITOX ACTIVE NIGHT MASK JELLY REVIEW

Last week I hardly could blog about any products but I have lots more coming up in this week so please do keep reading!!!

I have almost emptied my night cream jar of Olay anti ageing. And it was time to get something new. I loved Olay night cream it has helped my skin in many ways. But as I have combination skin sometimes I do feel bit oily on my Tzone. It was great for winters but now as spring is starting I thought of getting something gel based which can be used by combination skin and proper enough hydration.

So I have introduced L'OREAL HYDRAFRESH HYDRATION NIGHT MASK JELLY in my night skin care routine and replacing Olay anti-ageing cream. This jelly mask comes in a glass jar with plastic metallic pink cover. Packaging looks quite attractive to me. The jar also has plastic lid inside the cover for protecting the product.

This product is not a gel based cream or something but a proper transparent Jelly which is colourless and clear. This jelly glides smoothly over skin you need a very small quantity for your face especially if you have oily skin. I wouldn’t suggest this for dry skin as it doesn’t provide much hydration. But its a great product for normal to combination or oily skin. It gives enough hydration to skin. I noticed it had a very faint fresh cooling fragrance. I have used l'oreal Hydrafresh icy gel which has a similar fragrance and I use to love using it during my summers. This jelly mask when applied gives cooling sensation. It doesn’t feel sticky after application. I loved how soft smooth my skin felt after application. It quickly blends into skin and gives me a glowy face. It does take time(5-7mins) to absorb into skin. Though I needed more for my cheek area. On waking up I noticed my skin didn’t gave me any oily feel in fact my T zone was glowing. My face appeared soft clear and fresh. I had applied thin layer of jelly and massaged into skin as my routine moisturiser. If you want to use it as mask you can apply thick layer of this jelly for 201 mins and then wash your face. This mask is great for oily to combination skin. It gives enough hydration and suppleness to skin. It was quite comfortable when applied for overnight. It doesn’t clog my pores doesn’t not give me breakouts. No stinging, redness or any discomfort. I just felt I need to use little more on my cheeks.

Overall recommended for oily to combination skin. I think even acne prone skin can use this it will give enough hydration without making your skin too oily. Girls having normal skin can also use this. You can use this product as night moisturiser. This mask is quite affordable which impress me more. Well I couldn’t find any cons about this product I would love to see if it can provide some amazing results after completing the jar.

SEPHORA FIBRE SHEET MASQUE REVIEW.

I am surprised and so happy to have Sephora here. I couldn’t go to their launch which was on 31st jan but I managed to go a day after that. In a way I am totally excited to see Benefit, Stila, Makeup Forever and such makeup brands here. Though they had not launched latest collection which was a bit disappointing but I could manage to pick up few thing, which you will be getting to see in my next few posts. So its all going to be like small Sephora haul. Today I will be reviewing something different than my usual makeup products. I have already seen this colorful Sephora fibre sheet masque at almost every Sephora but never got one. And so now i got chance to pick up this i will be trying it for first time. They have 8 different fibre mask available which have different ingredients and for different skin concerns. So you can pick up according to your skin concern. I picked up 3 of them which are PEARL masque, ROSE masque, and LINGZHI masque which is basically anti ageing and smoothing well this one I got for my mom. This masque are one time use but you can still use them 2 times if you packed them properly and seal it.

Pearl mask is for perfecting and brightening

Rose mask is ultra moisturizing and brightening purpose

Lingzhi is for anti ageing and smoothing skin

This masks are very easy to use . You just need to cleanse your face and pat it dry. Than remove the mask which is totally soaked in serum. Carefully unfold it and apply it on you face. Now you can keep it for 15-25 mins and you can remove this sheet and pack it again for using it one more time. After peeling off if the sheet is dry you need to throw them away after one use. Now you can use them for 15- 30 mins or if you are comfortable you can apply them for whole night. Well I tried only pearl mask and I wasn’t very comfortable using it for whole night so I had put it down on my face for around 30 mins and it was still wet. So I packed it back for one more time use. After removing the mask I just massaged that serum into my face and slept. As I wanted my skin to get soaked in this ingredients. This masque helps to penetrate ingredients into deep skin while you are asleep I was happy to see the results next morning as my skin was having luminous glow. I didn’t felt like rinsing my face but even after washing my face and applying makeup the luminous glow stayed for almost a day. I wish it had more long lasting results. But I felt this masque are really good when you need that instant hydration suppleness or glow for your skin. You can even use them before your long hour flights. Compared to other brand this sheet mask are still affordable making it around 430 Rs each that is 6$. Although this sephora fibre mask are big in size which really make you look terrified after applying. Pearl mask did not have any scent and I like using products which have pearl as active ingredient. I liked that my skin was soft hydrated and appeared brighter on next day more over I loved that luminosity. I am also going try rose mask. I feel like I can stock up this masks. I am quite happy with Sephora fibre sheet mask. There are no drastic results but I think hydration is a first thing to all skin concerns. I love hydrating my skin and making it feel plump and supple. Who doesn’t love to have such skin. This masks also claimed of evening out skin tone which is not so true but I guess after regular use results will be more long lasting and visible. If you have oily skin you can always go for mattifying masks or you can blot your face after removing sheet that’s before going to bed. Overall recommended.
