L'Oreal COLOR RICHE LA PALETTE NUDE

Its been a week I haven't blogged how days passing by. I am soon going to be back with lots of new stuff so keep reading !!! For now there is something new and exciting from L'Oreal which is one of my favourite drugstore brand and recently I have been also buying lot of L'Oreal products. I picked up their new launch eyeshadow palette which is known as L'Oreal Paris Color Riche La Palette NUDE. So what i see is there are two options available one is in BEIGE and other is ROSE. This palette costs you around 1399/- bucks which is little expensive than the Maybelline nude palette but I loved the Rose shades they are perfect for having that glamorous sophisticated eye looks which makes this palette worth buying.

And as I already had Nude palette from Maybelline I wanted to try different set of eye shadow colors and yes how can I forget Pantones 2016 color is Rose Quartz so this palette basically has a Rose Quartz shade too.

I loved the packaging. It has a glossy black plastic case which looks classy. This eyeshadow's remind me completely of Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. There is a full size mirror inside. It also has brush with one side having sponge applicator and other side having soft fluffy bristle brush. If you love urban decay naked palettes you will find this palette quite reasonable in terms of price.

This palette contains 6 matte eyeshadows and 4 shimmer ones. So all in it’s a 10 color eyeshadow palette which is pretty good. I liked how travel friendly packaging they have got. Its sleek and light weight which makes it easy to carry in any bag.

This eye shadows have good texture they are soft and easy to work with. Few eye shadows blend really well does not feel coarse or grainy. But some of them are little tough to work with i think the matte ones. Overall they are finely milled powder which is buildable. Colors are rich and opaque. The palette has decent shades which can go on many skin tones. You can create many different eye looks from sophisticated to sultry look. I never used much of L’Oreal eyeshadows except the one which were from infallible range I used to really love them. But this palette is not at all bad eyeshades are quite pigmented and stay on well for full day but don’t forget to use eye primer. Eye primer helps this eyeshadow to give more vibrancy. I loved that they were not dried out giving fall outs. As basically they have got many neutral shades to work with you can use this palettes in your day to day basis you can even carry them in bag and just add darker shades for getting evening look. So this palette can be used for creating day to evening look.

Overall recommend nude BEIGE palette has lot of warm tones while ROSE has cool tones. All over I really liked the colors in this palette. Moreover the texture is quite good. I was not expecting much out of this palette. They are not the best of eyeshadows to work with but they do a pretty good job so i am impressed. Compared to urban decay palettes this are really worth to buy. I also felt the shimmer ones were more easy to blend then the matte ones. Girls its a wedding season and time for christmas parties this palette can be of great help. If you tried any of this palette do let me know how you found them?

How to use product

1. Prep you lid with color riche eye primer.

2. With the foam brush, apply the darkest shade all along the upper and lower lid, spreading the texture towards the lash line.

3. Using the bristle brush, apply the lightest shade to the inner corner of your eye lid then layer similar colours toward the outer corner of the eye, finishing with the darkest at the outside edge.

4. When slightly moistened with a concealer or foundation the brush acts like an eraser, refining and cleaning the eye contour area. Powder the whole area along the defined shape for longer wear.

5. Finish by applying a L’Oreal Paris mascara and for a more sultry effect, define eyes with a L’Oreal Paris eye liner.
