Hello angels,

Its been a long time since I reviewed any new product. Hope you all doing good.. Time really passes too fast so many things going at the moment which is keeping me busy. So LAKME ABSOLUTE MATTE MELT LIQUID LIPCOLOR was launched few days back and it was a complete surprise as finally lakme has stepped into the world of liquid matte lispticks. There are 8 shades available in this range I got 3 of them VINTAGE PINK, PEACH ROSE, WILD MAUVE. Like any other brand this product comes in a clear plastic round tube with a black cap and doe foot applicator. The formula has a mild fragrance which disappears on application. So it’s a creamy liquid formula which feels extremely light when applied on lips. It feels so comfortable like nothing has been applied on lips. The formula stays on for 6hrs including meals barely need touch ups. It doesn’t smudge or bleed. It turns to velvety matte finish in few seconds. It doesn’t stain lips. It has intense color pay off. Lighter shades are less pigmented compared to darker shades. Also the lip shade turns darker once it sets in. It’s a waterproof formula which come off with only makeup remover. If you have dry chapped lips you need to exfoliate and moisturize before application. It does make your lips dry but only to some extent you can always moisturize them before application. It gives complete coverage in 1 swipe even on pigmented lips.

OVERALL I loved the bold shade range also the packaging is quite simple and travel friendly. They are reasonable price and all shades are suitable for Indian skin tone. They are highly pigmented and texture is feather light on lips which lasts longer than any other lipsticks. Which shade are you going to pick up? Comments down below.

Today I am going to review New Lakme 9 to 5 Natural Range which is a first ever range that contains goodness of aloe vera, honey and green tea. I love using makeup even on daily basis. When you find a product which not only enhances your beauty but also nourishes your skin you would definitely want to try them out. So I got 3 products from the entire range FINISHING LOOSE POWDER, MATTE LIPSTICK & GEL LINER. What I missed out on was a Aloe Aqua Gel a gel based moisturizer & foundation drops.

All products come in a green & rose gold plastic packaging which resembles natural ingredients like aloe vera.

Lakme 9 to5 Naturale finishing powder comes in only one shade. This shade is suitable for all skin tones. Its a translucent loose powder with green tea and aloe vera extract. It’s a light weight formula and does not have any coverage. It doesn’t contain any fragrance. This powder has little sheen to it like most of the mineral powders have. It gives soft matte finish to skin. It brightens my face and looks fresh glowy when applied over foundation. I usually use it on my makeup but you can also use these powder without any base. It gives flawless application and keeps your skin oil free for 4-5 hrs. It does not enhance your pores or fine lines. Also it doesn’t cling to dry patches or settle into fine line.

LAKME 9 TO5 GEL KAJAL BLACK comes as a intense black kajal in a pot which also can be used as a liner. The product comes in a small jar with a brush for application. It can be used to create wing liner or as a kohl on waterline. It’s a waterproof & smudge proof formula. It stays well for 7-8 hrs even if your eyes are watery or your lids are oily this liner will stay without budging. It doesn’t fade or flake. It comes of easily with makeup remover. Its highly pigmented formula. It gives effortless application without having to drag or pull.

Lastly Lakme 9 to5 Naturale Matte lipsticks choosing from 15 gorgeous shades was a task but I made it to three and they are Plum local, Crimson town & Blush site. These lipsticks are in a form of stick which is in green and rose gold packaging also you don’t need to sharpen them. They are semi matte in texture and have hint of shimmer. It contains goodness of aloe vera and honey. All shades are rich, vivid and vibrant. They are highly pigmented one swipe gives a complete coverage. Color pay off is excellent. The texture is creamy which gives even application. The formula is nondrying. However if your lips are too dry it can settle into fine lines and also accentuate them. It does contain sweet fragrance which doesn’t last.

It stays well for 6-7 hrs doesn’t transfer much and survives meals. It doesn’t bleed or smudge.

CRIMSON TOWN it’s a beautiful red with blue undertones. I simply love this shade it looks gorgeous on fair skin tones.

BLUSH SITE it’s a bright candy pink shade with hint of shimmer. These shade is perfect for summers and for Sunday brunch.

PLUM LOCAL it’s a mid tone plum shade suitable for all skin tones.

Overall I liked the entire collection. I am looking forward to try CC CREAM and ALOE Skin moisturiser from this range. All products are reasonably priced and are easily available.

NEW LAKME ABSOLUTE ARGAN OIL SERUM FOUNDATION & LUXE MATTE LIPSTICK REVIEW

These weekend I have something exciting to talk about. Recently LAKME introduced NEW ARGAN OIL RANGE OF MAKEUP and I am going to review some of the products from this range. The range comprises of LAKME ABSOLUTE LUXE MATTE LIPSTICKS, ARGAIN OIL SERUM, ARGAN OIL GEL CREME & ARGAN OIL IN SERUM FOUNDATION.

As you all know I am a foundation girl I love trying new formulas and it was much expected that I pick up the New argan oil serum foundation with spf 45.

I am already in love with this product despite of so limited shades I picked up IVORY CREAM which was for fair skin tone having warm to neutral undertones. It was the best I could choose for my skin tone. Now when I heard a argan oil serum I was pretty sure this is going to be really fun using on everyday basis. Also it contains spf 45 which means you don’t have to wear any additional sunscreens. This foundation is perfect for normal to combination skin. It moisturizes my skin at the same time gets quickly absorbed into skin not making it too oily or cakey.

It perfectly blends without having to use any moisturizer. This foundation stays well for 4-5 hrs it starts wearing off near my nose area. That’s because I have a oily t zone. When I use it with a primer it stays for 7-8 hrs may be just a touch up with a compact on my tzone area and I am good to go for more 7hrs. Now this foundation makes my skin look brighter and it just gives me natural finish which means neither matte not glossy.

It adds radiance to my skin doesn’t clog my pores. Has medium coverage which helps to cover even dark spots to some extent. It comes in a golden bottle packaging with a dropper. So I just take a dropper and directly put some drops on my face later blend it with a flat kabuki brush. I loved the formula and texture is almost like a serum first and when you start blending it looks more creamy. Once it sets in totally looks fine. My skin looks more hydrated and fresh.

It keeps my skin shine free while adding a healthy glow to skin.

Lakme always comes up with very limited shade range so you can really have to try your luck for getting a proper shade.

Coming to the LAKME ABSOLUTE LUXE MATTE LIPSTICKS WITH ARGAN OIL so I could see these gold slim lipstick tubes which looks really attractive to me and totally luxe. There were 10 shades in this range I choose to try two of them ROUGE LOVE & ROSY LIPS. I was so happy using the foundation that my expectations with this lipsticks were too high. Well it wasn’t a complete disappointment but it just didn’t worked for me.

I felt the formula of this lipsticks were bit waxy and less of creamy mattes. I was thinking of more luxurious formula.

I really had to drag them to give a proper application. Also the formula was bit drying on my lips. If you have dry lips you probably won't like the texture of these lipsticks.

They are of complete matte finish and are almost transfer proof. It starts fading away from the center of my lips. The formula is buildable but it doesn’t give complete coverage in 1 swipe. Staying power for this lipsticks is 4-5hrs. They are not so highly pigmented. I really love when lipsticks are bold and fully loaded with pigments.

I felt the previous range of argan oil lipsticks were far more better. The price is 800/-which I think is not worth spending on it.

ROSY LIPS Soft muted pink for every type of skin tone.

ROUGE LOVE Its a bright bold pink having warm tones. It brightens up any complexion. Its my personal favorite shade in the range.
