PRODUCT BENEFITS

Lakahadi Tailam or Lac Oil has been used for centuries in Ayurveda for its wonderful clarifying properties. The finest Lac derived from Kusum trees along with fresh and Sandalwood paste is infused in Sesame Oil which balances oil production and helps to minimise open pores. The healing properties of Multani Mitti andKasturi Manjal clarify, refresh and protect the skin. Tea tree oil and Nagkesar treat pigmentation and evens out skin tone.

This luxurious soap come in a very attractive box packaging. Clarifying soap comes in a blue colored cardboard box. This soap smells heavenly just like some of the ingredients cinnamon, cardamom, tea tree oil, nargkesar, geranium, sandal wood and clove it give fresh earthy fragrance which I totally loved it.

This is one of my personal favorite soap not only because of its beautiful smell but also for its for clarifying properties. My skin totally needs it. This soap is basically created by silk infusion to give a smooth and silky texture to soap.

It also contains some hydrating properties from virgin coconut oil, castor oil and kokum butter. This soap is basically for healing your skin and protecting while at same time clarifying it. Also this soap is infused with sandalwood paste which helps in minimizing pores.

I am usually not so comfortable in using a face soap I barely remember using a face soap for my skin usually they make my skin dry. But I really wanted to try forest essential as they have most natural and purest ingredients which can help my skin. The soap comes in earthy brown color rectangle bar which is 100gms. When you rub it on face using your hands it gives lather and mild foam. The texture feels soft and smooth on skin and it can be easily washed with water. It completely cleanses my skin keeps it fresh for 3-4 hrs. It doesn’t brighten my complexion but I like that it clears my pores of excess sebum. It doesn’t make my skin dry or tight after use. This soap is basically for normal to oily skin. It keeps my tzone oil free for 3-4hrs. For dry skin this soap can give dry feeling to skin. I don’t need to apply moisturizer after using this soap as it leaves my skin soft and supple. It doesn’t clear out my blackheads or white heads it just helps to balance my skin ph. Tea tree oil helps for acne prone skin so you may see reduction in your acne also in long term use nargkesar can treat your pigmentation and acne marks or sun spots. In and all it’s a soap which can be used on daily basis which will help keep your skin clear minimize your pores and keep you skin even tone.

OVERALL RECOMMENDED if your skin has problems like acne, pigmentation enlarged pores, combination skin. This soap can definitely help you. Its made from purest of ingredients and doesn't cause any harm to skin. I always prefer using at least one herbal skin care product in my daily routine. According to your skin type you can choose from the 4 variants.

FOREST ESSENTIALS FACE UBTAN NARANGI AND NAGKESAR REVIEW

I love indulging in to New skin care products especially when summer days are around. Forest essentials have become one of my top rated brands after using ROOP NIKHAR GULAB ubtan I was so impressed that I couldn’t wait to try more of their skin care products.

I have almost completed the jar of Gulab ubtan and I got another ubtan for myself that is Narangi and Nagkesar.

It comes in a plastic jar with gold cap the packaging is very light weight and can be carried for travelling. The product doesn't spill out as it has got separator inside.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan is a gentle exfoliating treatment that stimulates the underlying tissues of the skin.

A clarifying blend of fresh sun-dried ingredients for lightening and brightening your skin, which refines the pores and clarifies the skin tone.

By its revitalizing, refreshing & refining actions, it is very effective of skin pigmentation, and its regular usage firms and tones the skin leaving the complexion soft and glowing with a radiant sheen.

It costs 895/-for 60 gms initially it was same price as Gulab ubtan that is 695/- but recently they have increased their price. I have already completed the jar of rose ubtan it lasted for 4-5 months and I was very happy with the results.

This ubtan acts as a cleanser and as exfoliator too. It comes in form of fine powder which is of yellow tamarind color. It smells like citrus FRUITS like lemon and orange with many more sundried ingredients. The fragrance is not so strong like rose ubtan and its more like refreshing. I totally liked this smell. You can make a thick paste using rose water, milk or curd and also you can use them as face pack. I generally mix it with plain water massage into skin in circular motions for about 5 mins and I keep it for another 5mins before washing it off completely. As it’s a summer time I have incorporated this in my everyday night skin care routine. It’s a mild exfoliant and when you scrub the powder on face it doesn’t feel harsh on skin. Narangi that is orange gives a smooth clear and relaxed skin. It also gives cooling sensation. I didn’t got any breakouts after using this as it gently exfoliates the dead cells from skin. It helps to minimize my pored and keep them clear It claims to act on blemishes as well. I don’t have any acne marks or blemishes but it makes my skin brighter giving a radiant sheen to it. It definitely helps in giving that fresh GLOWY skin. Though you have to use this everyday for maintaining glowy skin because the effects are quite temporary. When you use this for long term it definitely will help you for keeping your skin clear.

Overall recommended I personally like using ubtan as a everyday cleanser if you have oily to combination skin or acne prone skin with blemishes you can get this ubtan for daily use as it will help clarify your skin. It doesn’t make my skin oily or dull even after few hrs of use neither it makes it dry or tight. I love the smell though it can be annoying for sensitive skin. I don’t know how much it affects tanned skin but it definitely makes your skin look bright. This ubtan can be used for pigmentation and ageing skin. You can personalize this ubtan by mixing different ingredients according to your skin type-

How to use

Use with Rosewater or Aloe Vera for normal skin.

Use with milk or cream for dry skin.

Use with yogurt for oily skin.

Mix a teaspoon of fresh tomato juice for pigmentation.

Use to wash face.

Rinse well.

THE FACE SHOP REAL NATURE MASK and HERB DAY LEMON CLEANSING FOAM REVIEW

I am starting my week with the amazing skin care products form THE FACE SHOP.

The face shop is a Korean brand and recently they have been easily available online so I picked up few products to try them out. Also there was a offer going on the sheet masks where you get 5 free on purchase of 5 sheet mask. And thats how I got entire set of 10 sheet mask from Real nature range.

Also this products were quite reasonably priced and Korean skin care products are always known for some innovative beauty products.

I also got a lemon herb day 365 face cleansing foam I have never got such a huge quantity at so cheap price. It comes in a cream colored opaque tube the face wash is a pearly white colored having quite strong smell of lemon and thick in consistency. Some may find this smell annoying while some may find it very refreshing. I felt a bit stronger than the usual citrus face cleansers.

Very little quantity is needed as it gives a lot of foam. It makes my skin squeaky clean. It helps in removing complete makeup . Also I can feel that my skin is free of every dirt and pollution. I have a combination skin and I could feel little dryness on my cheeks. My skin felt tight after using this so now I barely use it once in a day. If you have dry skin this isn't for you. They have different types of face cleanser which you can try according to your skin. I choose lemon just for its brightening purpose. Though I couldn’t see much brightening effect but I am sure using it for longer time it can help you. The cleanser can be easily washed without having any sticky feel. For me it was just like a ordinary foaming cleanser which can keep your skin oil free for atleast 2-3 hrs. I would like to use this on hot humid days where I want some freshness and clean skin.

Overall recommended to oily skin. This face cleanser is good for acne prone skin as it helps control the sebum production also it has vitamin c which keeps skin oil free and bright. The only downside is its little bit drying and the fragrance could be annoying for sensitive skin.

I liked that they give much more quantity at such cheap price which I think is amazing. It doesn’t give me any break outs. I would like to try more variety in this face cleanser.

Lets talk about the face sheet masks. They are easy to apply you just need to keep them on your clean face for 15 -20 mins. They are completely soaked in serum and can be used only once. This sheet masks are similar to Sephora and innisfree sheet masks. They hydrate your skin and keep them glowing for 2-3 days. I love using them before attending some event it makes my skin soft and supple. Also it helps for sunburn and dullness of skin. It nourishes my skin which I love. They are also travel friendly at affordable prices. I have got chance to use only few and most of them give same results after one time application.

Personally I like using all types of sheet masks they are just so easy to use and makes my skin calm, hydrated and glowing. It doesn’t give break outs. It can be used by all skin types.

THE FACE SHOP RICE WATER BRIGHT CLEANSING WATER REVIEW

Happy valentines day to all of you. Hope you all have a beautiful valentine.

Today I am going to talk about a skin product from a Korean brand THE FACE SHOP. Recently while searching on amazon I came across this product called as RICE WATER BRIGHT CLEANSING WATER. Asians always believe that rice water helps in cleansing and brightening the complexion. So I thought of giving it a try with a hopes that I could get some better results on my skin.

Not only I was happy with it also I planned to get rice water cleansing foam. RICE WATER BRIGHT CLEANSING WATER

Comes in a plastic bottle with a pump to dispense the water. The packaging is not very travel friendly as the pump doesn’t close back without pressing it down and then turning clockwise as this cause wasting of some product. Its a faint white color water which is very runny so you need to take it on cotton and not directly on palm.

Now this water is very similar to micellar water. It helps in cleansing the skin effortlessly.

Its so mild and gentle on skin giving cooling sensation.

This is more to me like a micellar water which can be used by every skin type. For sensitive skin you need to try them out as It contains alcohol and you can feel it on your skin too.

It cleans all the impurities and removes every bit of makeup whether it’s a waterproof or non waterproof.

I feel it completely cleans my pores and makes my skin look brighter and clear.

Also it’s a non sticky non oily formula I would recommend to use a face wash after this to have a fresh clean brighter looking complexion.

Its very easy to use you just need to soak a cotton with the water and wipe it all over your face.

I usually use it after cleanser because a lot of product is required when I have a full face makeup on. It does contain fragrance of rice and alcohol and its quite mild. It doesn’t cause any burning redness or itching after using it. Face doesn’t look oily or dull after its use. Its not only for removing makeup but also for gals who don’t use it. This cleansing water helps in keeping your pores clean from dirt and pollution. As it contains alcohol it can make dry skin more dry while for oily combination skin its a good.

I was very much surprise that just a mild water removes all of the makeup even the one which I can barely see on the face.

Overall recommended My skin can well tolerate alcohol. And most of the time I love using formula having alcohol as it helps in keeping my skin clear.

I personally loved using Rice Water Bright Cleansing Water hoping to buy it again.
