NEW REVLON VOLUMAZING MASCARA & PLUMPING LIP CRÈME REVIEW

After a long time I could see Revlon coming up with some of the New products. Revlon products have always been underrated but I totally love this drugstore brand and I always look forward to try their products. I have got Volumazing mascara which comes in a pink and lavender color packaging which looks really girly and cute. I got Kiss Plumping lip crèmes in 2 shades Peony buff & Velvet mink.

Volumazing mascara has straight wand and designed with wavy bristles. It has a thick creamy formula which lasts for 24 hrs. It’s a smudge proof & waterproof formula There was no flaking of the formula. There are 3 shades available. I have got Blackest black shade. The formula contains olive oil which provides nourishment to lashes. With each coat of this mascara it gives my lashes volume as well as length. It also helps to curve my lash to some extent. It doesn’t give you double lash effect but definitely helps to deliver amplitude. Its available at superdrug as well as boots pharmacy.
Now coming on too our next product..

The plumping lip crème is available in 10 shades but as during the Christmas time I could see most of the shades were out of stock, lucky enough to get just two of them. I didn't got chance to try these shades but while coming back to room and trying them out I totally loved what I picked PEONY BUFF and VELVET MINK.

Peony Buff is like every gals favorite shade a rosy pink having warm tones.

Velvet Mink is a perfect dusty mauve shade suitable for all skin tones.

These comes in sleek plastic tube with the nozzle from which the product comes out.

The formula contains VOLULIP which visibly enhances size of lips overtime. The formula is creamy and gives glossy finish. It does transfer and leaves behind light stain. It can really get messy while application. It does make my lips look fuller. The formula is less pigmented but has good color pay off. It doesn’t give complete opaque coverage. The texture of lip product is just like a cushion soft but staying power is for 3-4hrs. You need to reapply every time you have a drink or meal. It doesn’t give any sting or heat sensation on application instead it feels cool giving a little plumped effect. The formula is quite moisturizing for dry lips too its not at all sticky. I found them best for winters. When you squeeze the tube product comes out of the plastic nozzle which may not give even application but you can use your finger or press your lips for evening out the product.

Overall these are super moisturizing balmy lip glosses which leaves my lips nourished. If you like a plumper more smoother looking lips with a semi sheer glossy finish you can try them off. The only thing which didn't make me happy was the plastic tub and applicator it gave me hard time for proper application. They are fragrance free and keeps my lips softer and smoother. Starting of new week with some amazing new products from REVLON. Revlon doesn’t launch new products as frequent as other drugstore brands do. But when they get new collection its quite good and can be compared to even high end brands.

I don’t remember when last I got to purchase Revlon products. So todays post is a complete review on New Insta blush, Metallic Ultra Hd lip color and Color Stay crème eyeshadow.

INSTA BLUSH comes in 3-4 different shades I found Rose Gold shade best suitable for my skin tone. It comes in a stick form which is very easy to apply. The texture is more like powder than creamy still I found them easy to blend. All skin types can use this product. You just need to swipe on cheeks and blend with your fingers. The shade is suitable for medium to light skin tones it’s a perfect Rosegold color which gives a some peachy warm glow to your skin. The formula is not so pigmented, I found them to be sheer and you may have to apply 2-3 strokes before getting desired result. This blush stays on for 6-7 hrs without fading or transferring.

The Revlon Colorstay crème shadow comes in a many different shades. I got one in 705 Crème Bruelle champagne color and 760 Earl Grey perfect metallic silver eyeshadow. These eyeshadows are meant for layering ..as they are semi sheer and not so pigmented you have to layer it for complete opaque look. This are shimmer eyeshadows which are available at affordable prices. The texture is creamy to powder which is difficult to blend after it sets in. The eyeshadows doesn’t crease, budge or fade. They are quite long wearing and are waterproof. Even for those who have oily lids this eyeshadows wont smudge..well you have to apply them quickly and blend with finger apply a liner or mascara and you are ready to go. The eyeshadows come in a small jar with a small brush hidden in a cap.

Coming on to Metallic Ultra Hd lip color the formula texture and packaging is similar to previous ultra Hd MATTE LIPCOLOR collection. They have a creamy formula and are highly pigmented. The formula sets in to give a metallic finish to lips. It does contain shimmer. It aslo contain sweet fragrance which doesn't stay for long.. the formula stays well for 4-5 hrs and doesn’t transfer much. You can always build the formula for getting a complete coverage. It doesn't make my lips dry after application.

Overall the products are expensive and so I would recommend only few products. Eyeshadows and metallic hd lip cremes are definitely worth trying out. Insta blush was not worths spending on you can totally skip on if your are not a blush fan. The packaging and formula of the products are really good.

NEW REVLON ULTRA HD GEL LIP COLOR REVIEW SWATCHES

Hello angels,

Revlon came up with the new range of slim lipsticks known as ULTRA HD GEL LIP COLOR. It was launched for SPRING 2017 collection which is going to be permanent addition to ultra HD range. There are 15 gorgeous shades available and I choose to have two shades which are HD VINEYARD and HD BLOSSOM.

I particularly like the packaging as it’s a very slim and has a metallic tube with a see through cap.

They are high in shine and has super creamy formula. On application I could already feel the slip in texture. I had no issue like feathering or smudging of formula.

It contains creamy vanilla and mango fragrance which does stay on lips for a while but I guess this fragrance comes in all Revlon HD lipsticks. I find it delightful rather then annoying.

As the formula is gel based it gives a glossy finish it helps to stay my lips moisturized for longer time. The pigmentation is good enough and doesn’t look sheer on application. Staying power is for 5hrs it does transfer but leaves some pigment behind. I don’t know how you may like the feel of these formula but its quite creamy like a balm and doesn’t feel sticky. It gives comfortable wear for 4-5 hrs. When compared to HD lipsticks the gel based feels more lighter and silicone free. It may look like the formula doesn’t hold well on lips but it does. It gives medium coverage to lips. You can build the color with multiple swipes. I apply 2-3 swipe for getting a desire color and opacity. The texture is smooth & glides effortlessly. It doesn’t contain any kind of shimmer particles. The formula doesn’t cling on to dry patches. It contains hyaluronic acid which is known for its hydrating properties.

Overall I loved the formula It gives a refresh feeling from usual liquid mattes. If you have dry lips do try them out you can also apply this gel lip color on any kind of liquid mattes ..as it’s a non drying formula I am currently using it on daily basis.

The application is so easy then the full size hd lipsticks and its even fun to carry them while travelling.

NEW LAUNCH REVLON PRODUCTS REVIEW

So today I am going to review some of the new launch products from Revlon.

Its really exciting when you see lot of new makeup products being launched by your favorite drugstore brands. There are 3 new products I will be talking about REVLON ULTRA HD MATTE LIPCOLOR IN HD CRUSH, COLOR STAY ONE STROKE DEFINING KAJAL and TRIPLE EDGE EYELINER PEN.

Revlon ultra Hd matte lipstick had been my most used lipstick and they have come with some additional new shades to this range I picked up HD CRUSH as it was something into purple tones not exactly purple like a lilac. I generally don’t use much purple lipsticks as it makes me look darker. But this one I had to try on. It’s a very cool tone matte pink lilac it’s a color which can go on many limited skin tones. But definitely worth trying out. Especially when you are bored of the usual brown,burgundy wines and plums for this autumn you can try picking up Hd crush. They have same texture and formula of previously launched HD MATTE LIP COLOR.

Now lets move on to the eyeliners so they have two felt tip black eyeliners I choose the one having 3 tip application. So this triple edge eyeliner pen claims to last for 16 hrs. This pen can be used for graphic eyeliners. You can create bold thick eyeliner, medium or thin. They also have one in ball point tip which helps in creating a dot liner for more sharper and even application. With the triple edge it was difficult to understand as in which edge is used to create what. It comes with a practice. Its great for wing liners. This are non water proof but are very long lasting. Also they go matte after application. I didn’t like its pigmentation one stroke was not enough to get that intense black bold look. So I had to go over again to get more black intense color. This liner doesn't smudge also it doesn't flake.
Overall its something different for creating 3 types of liners with just one pen. I expected it to be more like a gel liner. But I badly needed a good eyeliner pen with a great felt tip.

REVLON COLORSTAY ONE STROKE DEFINING EYELINER KAJAL

This eyeliner comes in a 5 different shades the one I am going to talk about is SKY IS A LIMIT. I am very fond of blue liners especially every shade of blue makes me want them. So this is again a cool tone blue. It’s a soft and creamy in texture. You can use them on your waterline too. Once it sets it doesn’t smudge or flake. Stays on for 8-9hrs which is pretty long lasting. It’s a waterproof pencil. Its good for sensitive eyes and doesn’t make your eyes water. I love the pigmentation it not only glides effortlessly but also the color is bright and beautiful. It gives complete opacity in just one stroke. Still I like giving two strokes of application. You can also sharpen them without any breakage . It’s a complete matte finish pencil. This shade is completely new and you wont find them easily in any other brands.

Completely recommended I am looking forward to buy some more shades. Also the provide a free sharpener with the pencil.
