Product description: Highly pigmented shades that have a rich and intense color payoff. Delivers a fine matte finish on your lips that lasts upto 12 hours. Sets a flawless base and evens out your lips for a smooth application. For a precision pro matte finish, line your lips with the Lakme 9 to 5 lip liner before applying the Lakme 9 to 5 primer matte lip color.

The packaging is very similar to their previous 9 to5 creaseless range. The lipstick comes in rose gold glossy opaque tube. I always prefer matte packaging over the glossy ones. Also I don't feel the packaging is sturdy. But they are quite reasonably priced.

The texture is creamy and formula is quite light weight. It need little effort for application on dry lips. Once the formula sets in this lipstick gives a complete matte effect. The formula doesn’t settle into fine lines. The texture is soft and gives little hydration to lips. I didn’t use any lipbalm prior to application. Some of the shades gives streaky application and it accentuates dry patches on lips. The formula holds on to lips pretty well. It doesn’t smudge or bleed. The fragrance is same as compared to creaseless lipstick. Now the formula contains primer which should help for lipstick to stay longer than usual. This lipstick stays for 4-5 hrs it does fade from the centre of lips. The formula does transfer and it doesn't provide any benefit of primer. It doesn’t leave any stain behind. You can take them off easily. They are very comfortable on lips having non drying formula. It doesn’t contain any shimmer like previous range. Pigmentation is fair enough some of the shades are really intense and give complete coverage. Well some of the shades you may need 2-3 swipes for opacity and to build the color.

Overall recommended they are comfort matte lipsticks it doesn’t last long as you expect it to be. But they are pretty good and have amazing shades which goes on almost every skin tones. I personally liked using them on everyday basis. They are available at affordable prices.

A bright neon fuchsia pink having cool undertones. Suitable on very limited skin tones. This shade reminds me of my early makeup days where it was all about that bright bold pink lipstick.

Hello angels,

Today I will be reviewing URBAN DECAY VICE LIPSTICK. When you have 100 lipstick shades to choose from each different from other it feels like a paradise or I would say lipstick paradise ohh I so wished I could take back home the entire collection. This is a mark in history of makeup...urban decay going so huge. It was most difficult task to choose this 3 shades from 100 thats so crazy but I could make it and I am ready to talk about it.

So they launched this lipstick last year in six different finish COMFORT MATTE, CREAM, SHEER, SHEER SHIMMER, MEGA MATTE and METALLIZED. I loved Comfort Matte texture and picked up MENACE, BACKTALK AND HITCH HIKE this 3 shades are also one of the top sellers.

The vice lipstick range is biggest line up for urban decay. You can go crazy as they have bold reds to dark sexy purples to all kind of neutral shades.

Urban decay always has that rock edgy kind of packaging. And when it comes to this vice lipsticks its in a metallic gun metal cap with golden base. I liked UD engraved on top of the tube. Packaging looks quite cool and sturdy. The tubes are made of plastic which makes it quite light in weight. Personally I don’t like shiny metallic tubes as they leave finger prints and you have to keep on cleaning them.

COMFORT MATTE are creamy on application and has a satin finish rather then complete matte finish.

After few hrs of application satin finish turns down to semi matte finish.

Coming to the formula its very light and comfortable to wear for whole day. It doesn’t cling on dry patches gives even application. Glides on easily giving high color pay off. This lipsticks are highly pigmented and gives complete coverage in just 1 swipe. This lipsticks don’t bleed or smudge and have staying power for 4-5 hrs. If you have meals you need to do touch up. This lipsticks do transfer but not much. Also some of the shades fade leaving behind stain.
It doesn’t make your lips feels drier instead it lightly moisturizes your lips. this lipstick do have natural ingredients like jojoba oil, avocado and aloe vera for nourishment of lips. It also contains VITAMIN C &E. You don't see any feathering with this formula.

I loved the formula as they are quite dense when compared to mega mattes. Also it has a slip which makes more easy to apply. When compared to comfort matte, the sheer and metalized formula are less pigmented and the formula is very thin which doesn’t stay long. Comfort matte are more comforting to lips more hydrating and long wearing also they transfer less when compared to other finishes. I like when lipstick have right amount of slip and the formula holds on lips for longer time.

OVERALL RECOMMENDED

I personally loved comfort matte finish its something where you don’t want them to make your lips dry at the same time give pigment and comfort to wear. Also when compared to previous urban decay lipstick this are cheaper in price and the product is more. So you pay less and get more.

The shades are amazing you can choose them according to your skin tones.
If you are URBAN DECAY FAN its definitely going to make you crazy and if you are lipstick junkie like me this is something new in the history of makeup.
