MAC RETRO MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK REVIEW SWATCHES

Hello angels,
Where all the brands had already come up with their liquid lipsticks Mac too launched them this month in india. I am actually having mixed emotions about this newly
launched limited edition Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick. First of all I am really not sure about either their are limited or it will add up to permanent line of MAC lipsticks. When i asked in store they said its limited one. But on international MAC website I could see its available as a permanent product. Talking about mixed emotions ..I mean i could get only
two shades from entire range .. guess girls everything was sold out almost at
every MAC store. And I wished I was bit early to get them. So I am feeling
totally bad about it. But the good part is I am glad I could pick two which is pretty awesome.. and luckily this shades just look amazing on me. My search is still on for few shades hope to find them till that here is a review for Mac Retro Matte lipsticks in DIVINE DIVINE, RICH& RESTLESS. The shades here are just bold enough and bright like most of the matte
lipsticks. They have pink, fuchsia, coral,orange, violet, deep wine and of course red ones.. too the shades I picked up may not
go on every skin tone but they definitely look better on fair skin.
This lipstick comes in a glass tube with usual Mac black
lid. Its bigger than the size of actual Mac Lipsticks. It has a elliptical applicator. The applicator does not take much product on so I am happy to not
putting on much product. You have to be really careful while applying liquid
lipsticks. This one doesn’t dry of immediately but once its set it becomes
transfer proof. It gives a lasting long powdery matte finish to lips. Its super
pigmented barely I need two swipes just to even out application. Doesn’t need a lip liner. You need to exfoliate your lips and moisturise them with lip balm before application. It doesn’t go streaky once it sets in it does get a shade darker than what actually it is ..it also accentuate fine lines but
that’s almost with every matte lipsticks. Liquid mattes are something which still
is on trend and they stay on for a very long time making it transfer proof
waterproof lipsticks. It does stain your lips but easily comes of with makeup
remover. The formula is bit drying.. if you are not use to liquid mattes it may
give uncomfortable feel to lips. Retro mattes feel really light on lips while texture is soft & smooth. I wouldn’t suggest applying to many coats of this
lipstick as it can get cakey and may even flake. It lasts for 8 hrs after
eating drinking. It doesn't contain any fragrance like MAC lipsticks.
Overall recommended I think they are good as liquid
lipsticks. The colors are really attractive. The applicator helps in defining
lips. I really would like to try more shades. the formula is definitely on drier side. This lipsticks also remind me of mac retro mattes like ruby woo which has pretty dry formula.
Divine divine is a very light creamy pink.. almost like a cool girlie pink.. It can go on cool skin tones.
Rich and restless is beautiful salmon shade .. totally in
love with it.. I really had nothing like this shade.
I think this shades will be really cool to wear in summer time..
