MAKEUP REVOLUTION REDEMPTION PALETTE-ICONIC 2

Hey angels,

It’s a NEW YEAR time last few days left for 2016. Countdown begins...So before the year ends.. I just went for some crazy makeup shopping. I found Makeup Revolution store in Mumbai Most of you know Makeup revolution is London brand which has good affordable makeup. The store had LA GIRL COSMETICS and MUA too. I picked up MAKEUP REVOLUTION REDEMPTION PALETTE IN ICONIC 2. Its so confusing to pick one eye shadow palette when you have so many options. Makeup revolution has amazing eyeshadow blush and highlighter palettes at much affordable price.

They are easily available online too but I liked going to store and swatching all of the palettes and choosing one.

So this palette contains 12 eyeshadows in matte, pearl and shimmer. While most of them are shimmer and pearl only 3 are matte. I will be swatching each one so you get better idea of it.

It comes in black plastic palette palette which looks quite sturdy and decent to me. It has a transparent covering so you can see all the shades without having to open the palette.Also I find them very easy to carry while travelling. It has 12 vertical strips of shadows.

The texture of shimmer and pearl ones are soft and smooth very highly pigmented. Some of the light matte shades are less pigmented when compared to darker shades.

It has all the colors like gold rose gold, nude, beige, black which can be use to create any party or wedding look. Also this palette is great for everyday look. I really loves some of the shades as they were not dry or patchy on application instead I felt more buttery. It doesn’t contain any fragrance. I have a fair skin tone so most of the shades goes well on me. But for medium skin tones First 6 shades wont show up while last 6 will. All the shadows are blendable except for 1-2 matte ones. The shimmer ones contain very finely milled glitter so you don't feel gritty and they can be easily removed.

I tried them using without primer it lasted for 2-3 hrs. I would prefer using with primer because most of them have oily lids and it can give crease lines.

This palette does give fallouts. But otherwise they stay in place .

Overall recommended the shades are really pretty and versatile you can create your own looks. Again I would say its quite affordable palette and value for money.
