Drugstores brands are loaded with liquid mattes and here comes one more from RIMMEL LONDON. So today I will be reviewing STAY MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK which
is a new launch from RIMMEL LONDON. There are 15 gorgeous shades in this range.
I choose two shades CORAL SASS and PLUM THIS SHOW. It was really difficult to choose from 15 as there were pinks nude blue black every kind of color. Coral
sass is a beautiful coral shade I find this shade perfect for summers. Plum
this show is a deep red shade which I guess every girl would love to wear.
It comes in a clear tube packaging perfect size to carry in a bag. The
colors are clearly visible from the tube. It has a doe foot applicator which
picks up the right amount of product from the tube.
The texture of this lipsticks is more like a soft mousse having a light weight non drying formula.
It does contain mild sweet fragrance which disappears on
application. This shades are highly
pigmented and super saturated. The texture is so soft and smooth that I am
already in love with. It sets into VELVETY matte finish. It takes couple of mins
to get into complete matte. It doesn’t transfer and if you have dry lips it can definitely
settle into fine lines. I found the application was uneven and patchy when
multiple coats were applied. So I try to go for only 1-2 swipes. Its smudge
proof and transfer proof which makes it long lasting. It gives complete coverage and opacity even on pigmented lips.
They stay well for 7-8 hrs fades away from the centre of lips. PLUM THIS SHOW leaves stain on my lips which is difficult to remove.
Overall recommended to everyone who loves liquid matte lipsticks but want something very comfortable and long lasting.
