NYX MATTE LIPSTICK REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Hello everyone,
Recently I got two beautiful matte lipsticks from NYX cosmetics. This entire matte range has amazing shades just to pick two among them was difficult choice to make. But I did it and I have got Natural and Shocking Pink shades.

I love matte lipsticks whether they are in deep shades or nudes I simple adore them. I think they stay on for long time and give perfect finish to lips.

Lets talk about NYX matte lipstick packaging they come in black matte finish tube with bold letters MATTE written on it . There is a transparent ring on the tube which lets us see the shade of lipstick. So you don’t have to open tube every time to check the shades out. Shade name is written on the bottom of the tube.

Packaging is very sturdy and they don’t look cheap at all.

NYX cosmetics is best when it comes to price and quality both. Its one of my favorite drugstore brand. Nyx always has products which not only look attractive but are Good in quality also.

This lipsticks are not powdery matte but instead they are quite moisturising to lips. They don’t make your lips dry so its ok not to use lip balm except for you have got chapped lips.

They glide on very smoothly and the texture is creamy to matte. You don’t have to drag or pull to get proper application. The quality is really amazing. They are most affordable matte lipsticks compared to other high end brands.

This lipsticks are super pigmented and can also be used on pigmented lips.

Natural lipstick is kind of warm nude shade it can go on almost every skin tone. Currently I love using this kind of shades they look really pretty when applied in daytime as well as night time.

Shocking pink is bright fuchsia pink its more cool tone and would go on perfectly with fair tone girls. This color do stain as its super pigmented pink . I was amazed how this color turned out to be its bright beautiful pink. They don’t smudge or budge there is no feathering of this lipsticks.

Staying power of this lipsticks are much longer than the non matte lipsticks. And I really prefer using matte lipstick for when you are out for long hours. This particular lipstick stay on for 5-6 hrs and you don’t require to do touch ups.

Overall loved this lipsticks wish could get in some more shades. They have lot of shades in this range you get lot of options to choose from.
They also don't make your lips feel dried out like soft matte lip cream so girls if your prefer matte with moisturising texture this are perfect to go with.

Maybelline spiced up lipbalm tropical punch REVIEW.

Maybelline new york launching new series of spiced up lip balm specially made up for indipop generation which will perfectly suit indian skin tones.

We all have used baby lips of Maybelline and they are one of the best flavoured lip balms in the market.

So spiced up baby lip balm has 3 shades BERRY SHERBET, TROPICAL PUNCH, SPICY CINNAMON .

I have got Tropical Punch lip-balm. I tried all the three flavours Berry sherbet was more pigmented than other two flavours Its kind of berry shade which is great for warm tones. And spicy cinnamon was brownish shade again having good pigmentation and giving cinnamon fragrance. But this lip balms are not pigmented as lipsticks they are just for moisturising lips giving some deep color tint to your lips.

The packaging is just similar to old baby lips tube packaging. It comes in a cardboard packaging . the tube is retractable it can easily come up and go down.

This lip balm come with SPF 20 in it which I think is necessary for Hot summer weather. It claims to moisturise your lips for 12 hrs which i felt is not true.

All 3 shades are warm tones and are pigmented enough to give a subtle color to your lips. I choose tropical punch as it gives warm pink tint to lips. The flavours are totally different from the usual fruit flavours of baby lips. This are more kind of spice mixed with fruit flavoured. Tropical punch has FRUIT fragrance which is not too strong it reminds me of fruit punch moctails. This lip balms are more rich in texture than the electro pop range of baby lips.

Though lip balm are always sheer you can still carry them alone when you are in no lipstick mood to just give a tint to lips. This lip balm also contain coconut oil which is great ingredient for moisturising. They make your lips plump moisturised and healthy though it does not help chapped lips.

This lip balm don’t last for more than 2 hrs they are quite moisturising but does not keep your lips hydrated for long time. They glide on easily and make your lips feel soft and supple. Formula is just similar to old baby lips but the flavours and fragrance are totally different. Spiced up range is something which is specially suitable for sun kissed indian skin tones. Thank you Maybelline for such amazing spiced up range of lip balms.

THE BALM SCHWING BLACK EYELINER REVIEW

So I am here with one more product from THE BALM COSMETICS its a SCHWING LINER. This is a short quick review about the product. I am recently obsessed with balm cosmetics packaging they are so colourful and different don’t you girls think so?

I had heard many good things about this liner so thought getting one for myself.

I generally love using black liquid liners than black kohls. I usually use felt tip pen as they give better control over application. I really wanted a Matte black liquid liner as they work well with eyeshadows and look better than glossy ones.

Schwing is a dark intense black liquid eyeliner which turns out matte after application.

It comes with usual tube packaging having a small container and long applicator. Well the applicator is very flexible and precise.

Still it does make difficult for me to create a wing liner. As this is in tube form I have little bad control over such liners. If you are a starter I would suggest to stick with felt tip pens instead of this or try using pencil first to create line and then use this over it this way it will make liner more long lasting too. This liners are not complete matte but they also don’t give a sheen like other liners do. I prefer Matte liners over Glossy ones. Schwing liner gives precise application and just one stroke is good enough but you can layer it of to give maximum opacity. Its a gorgeous jet black super pigmented MATTE liner giving even application.

This liner is not runny or watery though its not a waterproof still it stays on for 7 hrs without flaking or feathering. If it comes in contact with water it starts fading. This liner is not intense when applied on eyeshadow you need to put layers of it to give opacity. When you put layers of this liner it does take few seconds to dry. If you have watery eyes i wouldn't recommend this liner as it can easily smudge.

It easily comes of with makeup remover.

Overall i am bit disappointed with the formula I wouldn't be buying this liner again. I would rather go for gel liners or liner in pen form which are more kind of waterproof.
