This is my last post for 2016 looking forward for a great
2017 hope you all have a beautiful beginning. Wish you all a very happy new
year. As a new year resolution I want to make as many possible post on makeup, beauty& skin care hope I can keep it with that.
So as I had mentioned on my previous post of Makeup Revolution I also got LA GIRL cosmetics Strobe Lite Strobing Powder and Matte Flat Velvet lipstick. I picked up Strobe Powder in 50 watts which is beautiful
champagne color highlighter.
This powder comes in a gold round plastic compact. It
doesn’t contain mirror or any brush. Its powder highlighter which is use for
strobing. It gives a perfect glow to face.
The powder is super
highly pigmented and you need very little to get a glow. The powder is so
finely milled giving you soft and smooth texture. There are around 12 shades
and I wanted to pick 2-3 but then I thought of trying it with one and then
going for other. There are for 950/-INR and 9 usd each. Its value for money
product. You get a whole lot of product which can last you forever. 50 watt is
champagne color having hint of gold its very similar to Becca moonstone pressed
highlighter. They are very light weight and easily blendable. You can also
build up the product for more intensity. I absolutely love using it. Overall
recommended you have a variety of shades for every skin tone so go ahead and tell me your favourite shade in comments down below.

Now coming on to MATTE FLAT VELVET Lipstick I picked up two shades Hot Stuff and Hush. Hush is beautiful muted pink nude which goes best on fair skin tones.
While hot stuff is like a vibrant red having corals which goes on every
skin tone especially it helps to brighten the complexion.
They come in a black plastic cylindrical bullet which is slightly bigger to their
usual LA girl lipsticks. The color on lid is exactly that of lipstick.
This lipsticks feel extremely light and comfortable on lips. It contains Shea butter which gives a buttery feel to lips. Staying power is for 4-5 hrs if you have meals then you may need to touch up.
It doesn’t give complete matte finish rather I would say it a velvety semi
matte finish.
The pigmentation is good enough you may need 2-3 swipes for
lighter shades and if you have pigmented lips you will need to swipe more for building up the coverage.
The texture is smooth and gives even application but clings
on dry patches. Doesn’t bleed or smudge..i preferably don’t use lipbalm as they glide effortlessly on lips.
Overall recommend it’s a affordable product. It doesn’t
contain vanilla fragrance. I liked they had diverge shade range from purples, pink, blue and black. Also they are not drying on lips. They don’t transfer much and
easily comes off with makeup remover. Darker shades leave stain on lips. They are cruelty free. I would prefer darker shades than the lighter ones as they would last more. Tell me your favourite shades from this range?
