Tried & Tested L’Oreal Color Riche Lipsticks

Hey gals,

Happy thanksgiving to everyone. Today I will be reviewing 2 more lipsticks from L’Oreal Color Riche Range. Its going to be short and sweet if you want to know more details about COLOR RICHE lipstick you can check on my previous post where I have talked about Manolia irreverent shade from this range.

So I just went on for holiday shopping and picked up two more shades which are Blush Fever and Carmin St. Germain.

Blush fever is more like a day to day color its dusty rose pink. This lipstick has lots of shimmer but when applied on lips this shimmer just adds sheen to lipstick making it more lustrous. Its sheer compared to other color riche lipsticks so you may have to build this color.

St. Carmin Germain has no shimmer and it’s a creamy highly pigmented lipstick. The color is more like a darker red having cool tones its intense a perfect evening shade for this holiday season. Its great color to for wedding parties and festivals.

This lipsticks are rich in color and give opacity in just one swipe. Though I like to apply two swipes for proper application. They are quite moisturizing to lips. Its a non drying formula. It doesn’t bleed or smudge. But as you go for darker colors i recommend using lip pencil. They feel light on lips. No lip balm or gloss required. Carmin st. Germain do leave a pink stain on my lips which is difficult to remove. They have got sweet fragrance which does not annoy me.

This lipsticks are quite luxurious and creamy they do transfer partially. This lipsticks stay on for 5-6hrs for lighter shades you may need touch up while darker shades stay for much longer. You can even soak the excess of product by dabbing tissue.

I am totally impressed with this lipsticks. I love using blush fever on everyday basis its light subtle and can suit most of skin tones. While Carmin St. Germain is intense darker red which I like using it for occasions.

NEW L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim Review

I am so excited that finally L’Oreal has launched Super Liner Perfect Slim in different colors. I still remember during my college days I had almost every single color eye pencils. I never ever used black liners. Black seemed to me little boring. I loved playing with color liners and kohls on eyes. And it has been really long time that I have bought any color pencils or liners. So I am really excited to try this L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Blue and Green color. I already have one in black and its super amazing. Now there are two colors available beside black that is blue and green.

They are in usual identical black packaging having respective color caps . So you can easily identify blue and green colors.

It’s a felt tip liner which appears very sharp. The tip is super fine and long. Its hard on tip which actually helps in giving a precision line. The black one is still working for me so this liners don’t get dried. I really loved the colors they turn to semi matte once it dries off. Application is really precise and it helps me create a thin wing liner. I liked blue its more kind of navy blue not a electrifying blue so you can easily carry them off. They are not runny or watery it hardly takes sec to get dry.

This liner does not flake or smudge. It stays on for all day. The precision tip o.4mm which really helps in getting a line closest to lash line. I tried using it on my lower lash line of course not on water liner but on lower lash line and I was impressed to see that it didn’t smudge it looked beautiful. There was no trouble in applying except for that i don't poke the liner into my eyes. My eyelids tend to get oily but this didn’t made the liner smudge. The colors are intense and one swipe gives opacity but I observed that when I was finishing my eyes the tip really didn’t work for me. There was less saturated color which made me worried. I always keep my liners with tip down in holder. So that the tip don’t get dried. With green liner I observed that when I went over and over again the color was coming off. So I don’t recommend going over and over again with this liners. If you want to perfect your liner by putting a second coat then let the first one get dry. If you have deep set eyes this will really help you get super fine simple eyeliner look. if you don’t love much thick wing liners or you looking for some color then this are really great. They are not waterproof so it can come off easily even with water.

This colors are really vibrant and looks beautiful. Doesn’t look glossy at all. Some of the blue liners appear like black when seen from distance. But this one really looks like blue. They will really add some color to your look.

I overall recommend this color felt tip liners. They are really precise sometimes difficult to work with but worth the money. You may not find such colourful liners with such precision tips in the market at better price than this. Green liner is such a festive color you can play them with golden and copper eyeshadows. Its a perfect holiday color which can go with many different lip colors. Its also going to be a wedding season so you can try something different by adding this color liners.

L’Oreal Paris COLOR RICHE MATTE LIPSTICK REVIEW

Are you all having a lovely weekend. I have been feeling super lazy this days. Day are just passing by and we are almost at the end of November. L’Oreal is celebrating 30 years of Color Riche brand by introducing 15 new shades in beautiful plums orange and reds.You can carry this shades all throughout the year. From this recently launched lipsticks I have choose COCORICO 330 a True Red lipstick. There is no change in packaging a sleek gold tube which has twist tube and cover having shade name and no. at bottom of tube.

This lipstick comes from matte range of Color Riche which is something new for me to try. The lipstick in tube appears to be perfect matte red. On application it’s a warm tone red which can suit most of the skin tones(indian skin tones).

I liked this red color its deep rich and it appears more like apple red than the bold bright blood red. I love red lipsticks and I am little obsessed when it comes to matte red lipsticks.

It has smooth velvety texture which gives satin matte finish. This is not a powdery matte lipstick it’s a comfortable wear satin to matte finish. It gives enough hydration to lips with its non drying formula. Even after few hrs of application lips don't feel dry. It has a sweet fragrance which is similar to all other color riche lipsticks which does not bother me. The texture of lipsticks is light and easy to apply does not give you that packed feeling on lips which some of the matte lipsticks give. Its dense and maximum opacity can be seen with just one swipe. Color pay off is excellent. Highly pigmented lipstick . Doesn’t accentuate fine line and application of lip balm is not required. It may appear to be glossy but once it sets in gives you satin finish. I would say this lipstick lasts for around 4-5 hrs. This lipsticks transfer very little so don’t worry about that. No smudging or budging.

Overall recommended. If you looking forward to wear red in this holiday season I would completely recommend this shade. It will suit to all age groups including all skin tones. The Body Shop SEAWEED Clarifying Toner Review

Toner is the most essential skin care product in for my daily skin care routine. Especially for those having oily/ combination skin toner can help you keep your skin clear and free from many skin concerns. it also helps preparing skin for moisturiser.

Lets talk about Seaweed clarifying toner from the body shop this is a alcohol free toner for oily to combination skin. I have a combination skin so its very difficult for me to get a perfect toner for my skin.

Seaweed toner comes in usual transparent plastic bottle packaging with flip cover. The packaging is same like other body shop products. The bottle is light weight and no leakage which makes it good for travelling. The toner has no color almost like clear like water.

It has a pleasant smell which i liked. I always look for one thing in my toner that it shouldn’t make my skin feel sticky after application. And this toner does not make my skin feel sticky at all. I was loyal to my clinique toner for over years now. And so I was pretty scared to try on some new toner. So after using it for a week now I am totally impressed with this Seaweed toner. I don't miss my clinique toner. It removes every single trace of dirt and makeup even after cleansing face. It makes my skin feel refreshed and non sticky or oily. Does not give dryness. I usually apply only in night time after cleansing my face. Just two drops on cotton pad and swipe it all over your face and neck once. Apply moisturiser after toner it will quickly absorb in to your skin. When compared to clinique I am very happy to get this toner at such affordable price. This toner is for girls having concerns of enlarged pores with black heads and white heads. I don’t know how it helps in acne marks and pigmentation but toner always helps your skin look better young and fresh.

Mostly all toners come with alcohol but this one does not contain alcohol. I have seen many toners have strong smell like alcohol which is not at al pleasing. This toner has aquatic fragrance which I loved it. The product is quite effective on skin. It has menthol in it which helps in soothing and calming my skin. Its even safe for sensitive skin as generally toners do sting when you get them near eye area but this toner doesn't sting. It did not cause me any breakouts. The only thing I didn’t like is it contains paraben. And it can cause mild stickiness if you are in humid weather.

Overall its a great toner completely recommended for combination to oily skin. My skin feels clean and fresh after applying toner. It also contains vitamin e, cucumber and grown seaweed which can help in nourishment of skin. It helps in removing all residual dirt and oil without making skin dry. I had lot of expectations from this toner and yes it does meets my expectation.
