ITS TIME FOR NEW MINERAL FOUNDATION

Hello beauty buffs,

Wishing you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. May your NEW YEAR sparkle & shine. So finally we are in 2018 …looking back to 2017 it was an amazing year with hell lot of things. Starting this year with NEW product that is NEW TRUE MATCH MINERAL FOUNDATION from L’OREAL. I firstly thought it’s a previous formula with a new packaging but soon discovered that the formula also has been reinvented along with packaging. The packaging of these loose powder is different it comes in a square shaped jar you have to press your brush inside to get some powder on it.

I love mineral foundation especially when they are in loose powder form. It adds soft sheen on my face which I am totally obsessed with. This is light coverage foundation with SPF great for summers. The powder blends in smoothly it has a very light weight formula which gives you buildable coverage. The formula doesn’t look cakey even after hrs of application. It doesn’t cling on to dry patches neither it settles into fine lines or wrinkles. The formula does help to cover any imperfections and evens out skin tone. Its suitable for every skin type. It stays for 5-6hrs but if you are in humid climate you may need touch ups. On my combination skin it doesn’t make my T ZONE look shiny or oily even after 4-5 hrs. After application my complexion looks soft smooth and glowing.

I usually don’t try much of loose powders but this one was worth trying out. I am truly impressed with the formula and packaging. They have some amazing shades to suit your skin tone. You will require a brush for application. Overall the powder is long lasting and gives almost medium to high coverage. It can be also used over concealers or foundation if you want full coverage. I am happy with the formula it doesn't give me any breakouts and moreover it contains SPF.

COLOR RICHE LIPSTICKS

How are you all doing? Wishing you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS. Hope you all are enjoying your holidays and all set for NEW YEAR to come. Today I have something really exciting.. New lipsticks from L'OREAL. Yayy my favorite makeup brand is here to give lip addicts something new they are called as color riche shine on lipstick which comes with limited 8 shade range. I will be talking about two colors 902 FUSCHIA INTUTION & 909 PRUNE REBELLE. Seeing the packaging it looks perfect for this holiday season. Its all in the shiny silver tube which has Color Code on it. I loved the packaging its something which you don’t find in such price range.

Now these lipsticks are oil in stick form having high color pay off with glossy finish.

I was literally getting bored of using matte lipsticks so these shine lipsticks are going to give my lips break from usual drying formulas. The lipsticks have very comfortable moisturizing formula.

It has a balmy texture which I simply like during this season or this time of the year.

You don’t need any lip balms as it provides enough hydration to lips. It has a glossy finish and doesn’t stain your lips. The colors are well pigmented but doesn’t provide complete coverage. It doesn’t contain any shine or shimmer. They do transfer easily while eating or drinking. Well you do need touch ups as the formula starts fading away after meals. The average wear time of lippies is 3-4hrs. The shades are really beautiful and give you bright glossy pout. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines .The formula doesn’t smudge or bleed but you can use lip pencil so that it stays for longer time.

902 FUSCHIA INTUTION It’s a bright fuchsia pink shade suitable for various skin tone.

909 PRUNE REBELLE It’s deep raspberry pink shade which is suitable for various skin tone.

Overall these lipsticks give you change from usual matte lipsticks. Also the formula is buttery and creamy which doesn’t cling on to dry patches and provide enough hydration. Most of the shades are suitable for indian skin tone. Also they are very reasonably priced lipsticks having attractive packaging.

MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY MATTE INK LIQUID LIPSTICK REVIEW

Finally Maybelline SUPERSTAY MATTE INK LIQUID LIPSTICK is now available in India. Last time when I was talking about these lipsticks it was from Superdrug UK. And I wasn’t expecting it to be launched so soon in India. So when I saw these lippies here I went crazy and got 3 more shades. For a complete review please do check my previous post on it MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY MATTE INK LIQUID LIPSTICK. As I have already reviewed them before in this post I will be just talking about these shades Dreamer, Lover and Believer.

DREAMER is a pale pink suitable for fair skin tone it’s a light pink shade which can look washed out on medium to dark skin tones.

LOVER it’s a one of my favorite shade a perfect mid tone dusty rose shade.

It can go on almost every skin tone. Also I feel this shade can be worn on everyday basis.

BELIEVER is a eggplant purple shade which looks little patchy & uneven on application. Its suitable on almost every skin tone.

These lipsticks are waterproof and highly pigmented they do not flake or fade. I love these lipsticks as they have longest staying power. I didn’t like believer shade as it gave streaky application though the color was buildable. You can remove this lipstick using a oil cleanser or makeup remover. Darker shades does stain your lips.

Rest of the shades are pretty good and give complete opaque coverage. They have a little sticky feel to it which doesn’t annoy me. The texture is smooth and formula is quite comfy on lips. However the tacky feeling remained but it didn’t bother me much.

If you are looking for a lipstick which doesn’t budge even after meals and which goes strong for whole day you should definitely try these lippies. The formula is supersaturated and gives complete matte finish in 1-2 swipes.

SUGAR PLUSH HOUR MATTE LIPSTICK & MATTE AS HELL CRAYON REVIEW

Hope you all are doing good, lately I have been feeling quite unwell..waiting to get well soon. However today I will be reviewing New Plush Hour Matte lipstick from SUGAR COSMETICS also I will be talking about 2 NEW shades from Matte as hell lip crayon range. There are only few limited shades available in PLUSH HOUR MATTE range they come in usual black square tube packaging. The shades I got are Minnie mauve, and Little Bo Peach. The shade name is written on the cap and once you remove you have to be careful if you exchange it with other lipstick you wont come to know the actual shade of lipstick.

Both the shades are well suitable for light to medium skin tones. Even darker skin tones can try this shades. Little Bo Peach is warm mid tone peach shade which looks bit darker on fair skin tone. Minnie mauve is beautiful mauve shade again a bit darker than what I thought.

The texture of these lipstick is smooth but the formula is drying. I would recommend to use lipbalm if you have dry lips. The formula is not so soft or creamy and may need some effort for application. You may have to put some pressure for even application. They are highly pigmented and give excellent color pay off. It gives powdery matte finish and feels feather light on lips.

They are long wearing and quite comfortable on lips. If your lips are not well hydrated and moisturized the formula may start flaking off. Due to high intensity pigmentation it doesn’t accentuate fine lines and gives complete opacity with 1-2 swipes. It doesn’t contain any fragrance. The formula lacks moisturizing properties where it could be little hydrating. There is no bleeding or smudging of lipstick it doesn’t fade away. Stays pretty well for 6-7 hrs. As its complete matte finish it doesn’t transfer and gives a waterproof look.

Coming to matte as hell lip crayon I have already reviewed most of shades on my pervious post. Violet crawley if you love purple like I do it’s a deep Smokey violet shade which looks best for having mysterious vampy look.

Baby housemen is a deep magenta pink perfect for evenings. You can always add some shimmer on lips to give you a ramp look.

Overall these lipsticks are super highly pigmented and I loved its smashing matte finish. The only downside it lacks the moisturizing properties also they could be having a shade name on bottom of tube to avoid confusion. Just having two lipsticks still it was task as I had already misplaced the caps. Well inspite of the matte formula it didn’t settle into fine lines. The application could be effortless but overall I am happy when I apply them on well hydrated lips.The shades go well on every Indian skin tone. If you love mattes these are really worth trying out.
