Now before I start reviewing LA GIRL PIGMENT Gloss I would like to give you a sneak peak. LA GIRL cosmetics is not an unfamiliar brand we know how amazing concelars they have got. Now this gloss are from a while now in the market and most of them have tried it and not
liked still I wanted to try them on and it was just for the amazing shades they had got. I was pretty sure
of which shade I wanted. So I decided on two shades Fleur and Bazaar both
the shades are top selling in US and that’s what made me want them more. Firstly I
was quite stunned seeing matte gloss. How can a gloss be matt not on earth its
possible. So I will be mentioning this as a liquid lipsticks. Now they cost only 5$ in US, 7gbp is UK and in india its
for 575/-INR which is quite affordable.
Now talking about its packaging it comes in a ordinary tube like many other liquid lipstick
but its not long or slim like some of the liquid lipstick tubes. It has a
sponge applicator which is not flexible I felt its hard but it helps in even
application so it didn’t bothered me. It does have some faint smell which is barely noticeable when on lips. The texture is very thin and wet highly
pigmented. Goes very smooth on lips. Color pay off is excellent. They are transfer proof and give a complete matte finish to lips. When coming to formula its super drying. Most of liquid lipsticks are drying and this one lacks moisturising ingredient. The only difference here is liquid lipsticks are thicker in consistency. Now if you have dry lips forget of using them until you exfoliate and put some
balm and help your lips stay moisturised. It gives full coverage and opacity mostly in one
stroke. But for some of the shades you may need second coat to just avoid any
patchiness. It does dry quickly and you cant make any mistakes in application
as it will be not easy to take them off. They are waterproof and only comes of
with makeup remover. It doesn’t settle into fine lines but it does accentuate
fine lines. Like a gloss it doesn’t have any tacky feeling. Formula is light
and it only feels dry which makes me uncomfortable for wearing them over long
time. Staying power is good until you have your meals because it starts wearing
off from the centre. They don’t bleed or smudge. And you cant layer them off
or reapply it as it can give you more drier lips you may also have to carry a
makeup remover if you really want to reapply it. But as I said seeing all the
reviews I just couldn’t take my hand off from this amazing shades. I mean I
know the formula is a problem here but really I don’t mind wearing this shade
again and again.
Fleur is a teracotta shade more like a warm nude. It doesn’t look washed out on my skin tone. I
would say its kinda darker nudes not the one which looks pale on lips. So many
different complexions can try them as this can be worn everyday.
Bazaar it’s a beautiful warm mid tone pink. Its so gorgeous
one of my favorite shades can work on every skin tone. If you are looking for
a decent pink and the one who don’t like wearing bold pink you should
definitely try this shades. It looks different on every lips.
