I am so excited that finally I got my Gerard lipsticks i have heard so much about them. After my gloss experience from Gerard cosmetics I was pretty impressed by this brand and I bought few lipsticks too. This lipstick comes in beautiful golden tube and I absolutely love golden packaging it looks classy and elegant. They are very light weight and easy to carry. This lipsticks are creamy giving matte finish to lips. They glide effortlessly on lips but after application I found that they are bit on drier side but not like Mac matte lipsticks.

Make sure you apply lip balm even if your lips are dry. They are very long lasting stays for around 7 hrs. They don't transfer much. They feel feather like light on lips but they don’t hydrate or moisturise your lips and you may feel dry after application. Although texture is smooth and applies evenly on lips color pay off is good for light color and excellent for dark colours. Dark colours are highly pigmented so one swipe is enough although lighter shades require 2 swipes.

Buttercup lipstick

This lipstick is creation of beautiful Youtuber Jaclyn hill she is such a talented creative beauty I have come across love her. And I loved buttercup as it was perfect nude having pink in it which just goes on every skin tone. Its like a everyday color you can add some buttercream gloss too for intense color. It glides on effortlessly almost like a butter and gives full coverage. This looks best when paired with smokey eyes.

1995 lipstick

I don’t have picture of the lipstick as I got broken tube in my order although they replaced it immediately. Gerard cosmetics have such kind staff and they immediately respond to all your queries. I do have a swatch of this lipstick. Again this is a signature lipstick of Jaclyn hill this color is totally inspired by Kylie Jenner. So if you want to have 90’s lips like Kylie Jenner you need to have this one. It’s matte but creamy lipstick inspired from neutral nudes of 90’s. It will go on every single skin tone. It can glam up any look. Must have.

Fairy godmother

This is a shade which is like a baby pink color having blue undertones. Its opaque and can go only on few skin tones. If you like pastel shades on your lips this is a perfect pastel pink color.

Kimchi doll

This shade is creation of beautiful doll SOPHIA CHANG she is a famous Youtuber. It’s a perfect peachy nude shade if your fair tone this will go well. Medium to darker tones can also try I have seen many people carrying this shade so well. It gives full coverage. It doesn’t suit me completely so I try to mix with some gloss over it. BUY NOW

Fire engine

This is a vibrant hollywood red color which will make you say wow. I have seen this red just goes on every single skin tone light medium dark its a beautiful red having warm tones super pigmented and bright if your lover of red this is must have .

Underground

It’s a warm earthy tone having cool grey tones and touch of pink in it.

Its kind of different shade personally it didn’t suit my complexion at all. So its ok if you skip this one.

Berry Smoothie

A fresh berry shade having some brown tones will give you complete ultra elegant chic look. Will go on fair medium to dark skin tones. Again a must have shade in your vanity. It just goes on every look. Now a days I am obsessed with this kind of shades so its one of my favorite.

ALL dolled up

A bright flirtatious pink color must have for feminine look. If you love pinks this is a lovely color. Again it s a shade for every skin tone.

Overall Recommended they are not so expensive if you buy them in bundles . the offers are irresistible.

The Best Homemade Skin Care Recepie

So today I would like to share my little secret for maintaing flawless skin or if you trying to get a flawless skin. I have been always asked tons of question on how i maintain my skin what products i used etc?? So this is something which may look very simple but i have used this for all my life and it still work wonders for me. And I never forget to use this whenever I feel my skin is dull, lacking hydration, having breakouts, uneven skin tone or tanned skin. I am blessed with good skin but still I occasionally get skin problems and it gets difficult for me to maintain it. Chemical loaded products has never helped me out truly. This recipe will work as scrub as well as face pack for you. I know most of girls may have tried out this at home you may not have succeeded but this is something which should be part of your routine not for one time use. As my skin gets exposed to lots of makeup I tend to get whiteheads and blackheads so for that i have to regularly exfoliate my skin. And this is the best natural way to exfoliate your skin.

For combination to oily skin

Take gram flour 1-2 tablespoon add 1/4^th teaspoon of turmeric add 1 tablespoon of curd and few drops (8-10 drops) of lemon mix it into paste and apply all over your face and neck keep it for 15-20 mins and once it dries off rinse it with cold water. Try to use this once in a week. This will help your skin to exfoliate as well as to remove tanning. You will see instant softness and glow but with regular use you will find better results. You can also use this for your hands feet and legs.

For Normal Skin
If you have a normal skin add Milk in above mixture instead of curd . Milk is known best for exfoliating skin as it contains lactic acid. And lactic acid is known for its exfoliating properties. If you want a glowy skin just add honey to above mixture and it will work as your glow mask.

For DRY skin

Take the same above ingredients replace curd with a spoon of fresh cream even 1 teaspoon will do or you can add milk to make it a paste.

Gram flour helps in exfoliation of skin helping to remove all dead cells.

Turmeric is known for its antibacterial property it will help for pimples.

Lemon and Curd help as natural bleaching agent and will remove any tanning of skin and will help in making spots light.

Fresh cream and milk are known to hydrate your skin giving plumpness to your skin and gives you that right glow.

As your skin is constantly exposed to sun, pollution and all other external factors your skin need to be exfoliated every few days. Dead cells need to shed of so that new cells can generate. And this is the best natural way to exfoliate your skin. I would recommend this twice a week or at least once in 15 days. Its lot easy to do. You will definitely find difference in your skin when you start using it on regular basis. you can use it as scrub or leave it as mask. You can make endless recipes for your skin with gram flour you can also mix with rose water to give soothing effect on skin. Its best natural home made face mask for any skin type .

Clinique Long Last Stay Matte lipstick Matte Peony Review

Hi gals,

I love trying different lipsticks and so here I am with one more lipstick review. I recently picked up lipstick from Clinique long last stay matte range in Matte Peony.

Clinique Claims.

Long-wearing formula keeps its just-applied look for hours. Non-drying, non-feathering. Full coverage, velvety, soft matte finish.

I love Clinique for its skin care products. Though I have never really bought much from Clinique’s makeup range but after my chubby stick experience I am definitely liking this brand more for makeup stuff. I have got best of results on my skin with Clinique products. Long last stay matte range had been launched few months back and they come in beautiful 8 shades. This lipsticks come in stunning chrome packaging. They are not too heavy and sleek which occupy less space and easy to carry even in small purse.

Matte Peony is Warm Hibiscus Pink shade in my words it’s a Warm Pink shade having bit of coral in it. When I tried this lipstick for first time I absolutely love the texture of it the way it felt on my lips soft smooth and creamy.

I am sucker for matte lipsticks and I just adore this lipsticks for being so light & cushion soft on lips.

This lipstick have a totally soft velvety matte finish . Its super pigmented one swipe is enough to give opacity works well on pigmented lips too. It glides easily on lips without having to tug or pull. It applies evenly on lips. If you have chapped lips do apply some lip balm. This is more like a velvety matte lipstick than powdery matte. This lipstick is not moisturising or hydrating to lips as I had expected it to be. It does not stain and easy to remove without making your lips dry. Moreover they are so comfortable that you can apply it every single day.

They don’t transfer much and stay on for 5 hrs which is pretty good. With meals it fades on giving you light pink stain. This lipstick don’t bleed nor they feather.

They don’t have any fragrance in it. This shade can go well on light to medium skin tones.

My mom loves this shade she is medium tone and this color looks pretty amazing on her. After chubby sticks intense this are going to be my second best lipstick from Clinique .

Over all recommended if you are lover of matte lipstick like me this lipsticks are totally worth every penny you spend on it.

New Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation Review with Makeup Look

Hi beauties hope you all had a great weekend.

Welcome back to my blog I update my blog every two to three times in a week so keep checking for latest updates on products. Today I m writing about recently launched drugstore foundation that is Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation which is a part of their newly launched Rebel Bouquet collection . I am also including how to get look using Maybelline products which is mentioned below. Previously I wrote reviews on Maybelline dream satin powder, Rebel bouquet lipsticks, Colossal liner and Color Show Go Graffiti. Maybelline dream liquid foundation come in 6 different shades. My shade is in 02 Porcelain which is shade for fair skin having pink tones. The packaging is in slim glass bottle with a pump which i think is good according to hygiene concern. Pump dispenser gives control over the product. So you can avoid wasting your product.

MAYBELLINE claims-

Maybelline’s exclusive liquid mousse formula that has been air-whipped for a completely poreless finish to give you skin as smooth as satin. This formula never allows the skin to clog and makes it breathable at all times.

This foundation has thick and creamy consistency rather than liquid. You may require 2-3 pumps for entire face. This foundation has a smooth satin like texture. and when applied on skin it does not feel heavy or cakey.

It just blends into skin like air whipped mousse. It was not difficult to blend it into skin provided your skin is well moisturised. It feels light on skin and can be used on daily basis .

It is medium coverage foundation does not cover blemishes completely. You can build this foundation to give high coverage but i don't recommend as it can make your skin look dry and patchy. Its oil free foundation which is good for oily skin and does not clog pores .

I have used this foundation for almost 8-9 hrs and it’s a pretty long lasting foundation. I had not used primer and at end of the day I could see foundation wearing of near my chin and nose area. I could see streaks of foundation near my corners of lips. Without any touchup it lasts for 5 hrs and I think with primer it can last you for more hrs.

This foundation is in between matte and dewy look giving you more of natural finish. Maybelline claims its super blend-able foundation covering all your pores and imperfections well if you have dry skin it can give you patchy dry look so apply a good moisturiser and primer. It does help you cover your pores but only till some extent.

Its also good for sensitive skin as it does not contain any fragrance and it’s a dermatologically tested.

I just felt that it should have been more thin liquid like so that it would be super blend-able on dry skin too. As its thick it clings on to dry patches of your skin which i didn't like it.

Overall recommended for normal to oily skin this foundation will last you longer and it’s at affordable price than the usual Revlon , L’oreal, Bourjois foundation.

How to create this Look using Drugstore products MAYBELLINE

I have created a look using most of the Maybelline products from Rebel Bouquet Collection. I almost have all products from rebel bouquet collection so thought of doing this dewy glowy kind of summer look. Moreover I was excited to see how this foundation and powder from new range works on me.

I loved the way this look turned out to be I personally think its perfect fresh glowy summer look. My glossy lip color gives a bright vibrant touch to whole look. For girls who don't want to contour and highlight this look can be carried in daytime as well as night time. It will go on almost every skin tone. The products I have used are listed below. Few simple steps to achieve this look.

First of all I sprayed some Mac Fix+ on my face to prep my skin and to give some hydration then i took 2 pumps of Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation and blended on to my face working from center of the face to outwards using SIGMA Flat Kabuki Brush.

I have used my favorite Mac NW20 concealer and set it with Ben nye banana powder.

I filled up my eyebrows using Mac espresso eye shadow using angular brush from Mac and setting it with mac brow set gel.

I applied MAC Painterly Paint Pot on eyelids first as base. I have used Maybelline eye studio eye shadows on eyes for some shimmer and with Maybelline colossal liner it was easy to create a wing liner.

Completed my eye look with several coats of Maybelline Big Eye Falses mascara on upper and lower lashes. I have put Ardell lashes in natural its optional.

For setting up my foundation I used Maybelline dream touch powder.

I wanted my cheeks to glow so I added Dream touch Blush on apple of cheeks using sigma brush or you can even use fingers. I just love this blush it blends into skin like dream. This blush also acts like a highlighter so I did not use any highlighter.

I have not used any bronzer or contouring powders as I wanted to really keep it simple and easy to do.

For lips i used REB 04 from REBEL BOUQUET collection its bright coral glossy color which was perfect for this look.
