MAYBELLINE COLOR SHOW CREAMY MATTE LIPSTICK REVIEW

Hi angels,
I have been so busy this days hardly got any time to blog. Maybelline has launched creamy matte lipstick to their color show range. Its been a week since I have owned it. And now I just cant wait to try them. Its so exciting to try new lipsticks. As you all know i am obsessed over matte lipsticks. I got 5 shades I was lucky enough to get them on the day it was launched. I just got so carried away seeing the swatches so ended up buying 5 shades in Peach Personality, Pink Power, Rock the Coral, Flaming Fuchisia, Red Carpet.  I already have tried color show moisture range and now adding up this 5 lipsticks to my color show stack. They are simply pretty affordable matte lipsticks. Lets get started with the packaging it comes in usual black packaging like a color show moisture lipstick but this time its matte black tube instead of glossy. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
I loved almost all the shades from this range the one I picked up are one of my favorite’s.
On application this lipsticks are soft smooth and glides on easily. The formula is moisturising it doesn't make your lips feel dry after application. But if you have dry chapped lips it wont give an even application. Try to use this lipsticks after exfoliating lips. I felt the lighter shades gave me less coverage than the usual dark shades. Pigmentation is good enough for light to medium shades and is excellent for dark shades. One swipe was not enough to give me the opacity so I went with other swipe but it was difficult to build the color. I tried using lip brush but it didn’t work so finally I had to use my finger to make it look even. Though if you have pigmented lips don’t go for lighter shades. Darker shades are pretty long lasting and they leave stain on your lips. Over all lasting power is quite less compared to other matte lipsticks. It stayed on for 3-4hrs and started fading off. The texture feels light and somewhat creamy on lips. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines. This lipstick have a mild fragrance which is barely noticeable. It gives a complete matte finish to lips.

Peach Personality
It’s a beautiful peachy nude shade. I think for first time I found a perfect peach color. Its a color for fair skin tones. On darker tones it can look paler on lips.

Pink Power
Pink power is soft pink shade its lovely for day time wear. Its pigmented but you may have to build the color for opacity.

Rock The Coral
As the name says its a coral shade. Again a pretty warm shade for day to day wear.

Flaming Fuchsia
A perfect bright fuchsia shade. So deep pigmented and opaque. I loved this shade..amazzing totally obsessed with this color right now. If you love bright pinks don't miss this one.

Red Carpet
It’s a bright Red color having neutral undertones. So it will go on almost every skin tone. Quite pigmented and stains your lips. Loved this shade it reminds me of L’Oreal moist matte red lipsticks.
Overall they are worth trying it. Try to pick darker shades if your lips are pigmented. I wished lighter shades had more coverage with just one application. Maybelline always comes with something new at affording price this is what I love about maybelline. You never have enough lipsticks especially if they are matte.
Have you got your maybelline color show creamy matte lipsticks yet? which one is your favourite shade?
