totally feel Christmas every where. I love christmas shopping, christmas trees that gifts, tinkling bells, pastries ..music and lots of things.. it makes you feel happy sets your energy high making your year end in a great way. Well my last post was about Body Shop lipstick in Coral Blush and Again today I am going to review another
lipstick from The Body Shop and it’s a Sweetheart Pink lipstick.

This lipstick comes in such a attractive packaging it has
this dark pink plastic cover which is almost transparent and a metallic silver
glossy tube. The packaging definitely makes your lipstick stand out
in front of many you can easily identify by its colourful lid.
Sweet heart pink is a beautiful light pinky shade but when
applied on lips it almost gives that luscious Barbie pink color. Not many skin tones will
be able to carry off this shade. Fair tones can play safe with this color but
for medium to olive tones its kind a dare to wear color.
So I would suggest trying it on your lips before buying it. It’s a moisturizing lipstick giving almost that
glossy finish.
It contains shimmer which adds pearly effect to lipstick its not visible on application but when I was
removing lipstick I could see lots of shimmer particles on my lips which were difficult to remove even with a
makeup remover. I really didn’t like this part of lipstick. It has a very
decent rose fragrance in it . After application smell doesn’t stay on for long.
The texture is smooth and soft more like creamy lipsticks. It glides on lips
like butter. Pigmentation is good. Gives semi opaque in one swipe, but
because of rich moisturizing formula I do not recommend going over and over again it doesn't help in building color or opacity. I also wouldn’t
suggest this for pigmented lips as this color will not stand out and it won't give enough coverage. While it did not
feel tacky it was completely comfortable and wearable on lips.
It hardly stays on for 2 hrs it has non drying formula no
need of prior lip balm application. You really need to have well exfoliated lips
as it can makes your fine lines and chapped lips more visible.
Overall I don’t like much of moisturizing lipsticks but if you love them I would recommend this. I loved how effortless application it gives I also liked this Barbie pink color against my skin tone. But for some reasons I also felt it’s a occasional color. I may not be able to use much. I didn’t like the shimmer particles which stayed on my lips for long. This lipstick can look uneven and streaky when 2-3 layers are applied. Doesn’t stay for much long. It’s a non transfer proof lipstick. Again the moisturizing ingredients helps this lipstick gain some points. But still I am not sure whether I may purchase color crush lipstick in future or not.
