PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Highlight Key Features or Illuminate All-Over.
Lightweight Formula. For every skin tone and undertone. The ultimate
luminosity. L’Oréal Paris introduces its first powder highlighter specifically
crafted to highlight key features or illuminate all-over. Designed in Golden,
Rose, and Ice shades that flatter every skintone from warm to neutral to cool.
Golden Illuminator enhances peachy or yellow tones in warm skintones. Rose
Illuminator enhances yellow, peachy, pink or blue tones in neutral skintones.
Ice Illuminator enhances pink or blue tones in cool skin tones.
This highlighter is basically powder so the texture
definitely feels little drier when applied on skin. It blends well but only if you don’t have
dry skin. It can accentuate dry patches. Also it doesn’t look good when you apply over matte foundation. The powder is finely milled and all of the shades are pretty good.
it also contains fine shimmer particles which gives that glowy look. It looks
better when applied on liquid illuminator. This highlighter shade will work for
lighter skin tones having cool OR neutral undertones.
It doesn't fade or smudge around stays well for 4-5 hrs. It
doesn't accentuate my pores. I have used better powder highlighters and for me
this doesn't work completely. Although the quantity of the product is much when
compared to price of it. Also I didn’t like some of the shades had that chunky
silver glitter which looked obvious on skin. Pigmentation is fair enough so is
the color pay off. I would want them to be more intense. You have too take
enough product on your brush for getting that glow. Or else you can take little
product and apply them over your liquid illuminators. This will completely
enhance your look. also I would wish for the formula to have a little more
softer and creamier feel. The formula is ultralight and doesn't feel like you have applied one.
Overall I may recommend this product for its
affordable price and for the beginners who really want a good drugstore
highlighter. I wouldn’t recommend for dry skin as it can look patchy. There is
lot of fallouts when trying to apply the product with brush. I loved the liquid
version more but the powder is good when you really have good base and well
hydrated skin.
Have you tried them yet? let me know which one is better liquid or powder?
