Hello angels,
I was trying to get this matte lipsticks online but some how they
were out of stock...Which was disappointing but then Finally now they are in stock and I got shades which I was looking for. This matte
lipsticks are only available on nykaa.com. I was really happy that nykaa came
out with their own range of beauty products as they have been leading online
makeup store for Indians.
They come in a pink cardboard box and the lipstick packing is in a square black matte plastic tube. This opens and shuts with a magnetic
click. I totally liked their packaging as I was not expecting much out of
399/-INR lipstick.
But the provided best quality packaging.
So this lipsticks are little inconvenient to carry as the
size of tube is little bigger than the regular lipsticks so it may occupy space
also they don’t fit in my lipstick holders.
All the shade names are written on bottom side of the tube.
There are 12 shades in this range with nude to pinks and red
plums. I got 5 shades which are Naughty Nude one of the best selling, Taupe Thrill, Pink Flirt, Devious Pink, Mischievous Plum.
Naughty nude
It’s a perfect warm peachy nude shade. Its one of my
favourite everyday shade. this can be carried out not only in winters but all
year around. It goes on almost every indian skin tone.
Taupe thrill
Its more like neutral nude. Personally it was not looking
great on me it almost looked like a brown shade. But if you love brown shades its great to pick this one.
Pink flirt.
Its bright coral pink shade. The moment you apply it brightens
your face completely. This is a shade which can look like a neon pink on darker
tones. So If you love brighter pinks you can pick this one.
Devious pink
Its one of my favorite shade in this range.
Beautiful soft mauvy pink absolutely needed for fall. Again
it can go well on all Indian skin tones.
Mischievous plum
It’s a tricky shade. Like I have never tried such deep
plum lipstick in my life. Its bold and loudest of all color. So it was different to have them in stash. I am
looking forward to try a look with mischievous plum. It’s a vampy winter shade
dare to pick this one.
Lipsticks are creamy in texture. They are soft and smooth on
application.
It gets complete matte after few mins of application. This
are super rich in color pay off. Highly pigmented so you barely need to give a
second swipe.
The color actually looks same as they are in tube.
It doesn’t dry out my lips.
This lipsticks do transfer because it takes time to set them.
Stays for 3-4 hrs and darker shade stay longer and fades away leaving a pink
stain. They don’t really smudge or budge.
They don't accentuate fine lines either.
Overall RECOMMENDED
I felt they are most comfortable semi matte lipsticks. The formula is quite hydrating to lips. So I usually apply
them without moisturizing my lips. They could have been more long lasting and complete matte finish. They are quite affordable and so I am happy with this.
