Many of you have asked me where I got my Rimmel the only one
matte lipstick as its not available in India I got it from UAE from my last
trip.
So the only one matte lipstick is the latest range of matte
lipsticks provided by Rimmel London. The matte lipstick fever is still on and my collection is getting crazy as I have been picking every single matte lipstick from
last year.
Till now you all must be knowing I am a total lipstick
addict and can't miss on this. Starting of the review RIMMEL
LONDON THE ONLY ONE MATTE LIPSTICK comes in 9 shades with a complete red packaging with a shade
code on the tube. The bullet is silver while the cap and whole packaging is in
opaque red. The lipstick tube is slant so it gives a better
application.
I picked up 3 shades High flyer, Call it shots, The matte
factor.
High flyer is one of my favorite everyday shade. This is a
very much on going dusty pink shade. Most of the girls would love to pick high flyer.
Call it shots is bright like a red having pink tones. Its quite bold then what it looks in swatches. Perfect for summer days.
The matte factor is deep red having pink more like a evening
color for those who don’t prefer a bright bold red. Its perfect for fall and my second favourite from the range.
This lipsticks have a fragrance which is difficult to
describe its flowery but its such a turn down even when it doesn’t lasts on
lips.
They are complete matte finish some of the shades are more
drier than the others.
The pigmentation is too good. High coverage with just one
stroke.
The formula is quite creamy and glides on like a butter.
Sometimes I end up applying over the lip lines because the texture is so smooth
there is no control over the lipstick.
I totally loved the formula once it sets on they go
completely matte. Some of the shades lasted longer and were more comfortable to
wear.
Lighter shades made my lips dry and I could see flaking of
product from center of lips.
This lipsticks doesn't transfer much so be carefree while drinking you wont leave a mark.
They provide good amount of hydration to lips but if you
already have flaky chapped lips better to avoid them.
Coming to its lasting power darker shades of course lasted
much longer than the lighter ones.
It stayed well for around 5-6 hrs including meals.
They are very easy to remove even the darkest shade don’t
leave any stain on lips. They don’t really budge or smudge but when you apply
darker shades do use a lip pencil.
Overall Recommended Its great for pigmented lips as they
give full coverage.
Also for gals who want’s a matte finish lipstick with a
creamy formula. Some of the shades are so pretty they can be carried off my
various skin tones. The only turn down is its fragrance and some of the shades
