HUDA BEAUTY DESERT DUSK PALETTE REVIEW

Hello angels,

Where do I start from.. I feel its been ages I am so glad the wedding is over and I am coming back to my routine work. Today I have something which I have been waiting since it has been launched. Yes you heard it right HUDA BEAUTY has made its way finally to INDIA. I really really wanted this palette for my wedding look and somehow I feel lucky enough to get it. DESERT DUSK PALETTE contains 18 eyeshadow pans from which 8 are matte shadows, 6 pearl finish eyeshadows, 1 pure glitter and 3 duo chrome shadow. This palette has got mix reviews’ some of them found it really good while others thought it was a big miss. Well for me some of the shades really worked well while shimmers really disappointed me. Lets have a look

The matte eyeshadows are soft and butter smooth I found them highly pigmented there was some fallouts but nothing that scared me off. It stayed pretty well for 7-8 hrs. They were quite blendable and when applied on lids had little pearl finish to it which was barely noticeable. These matte eyeshadows can be applied in crease and for base on lids.

The pearl finish eyeshadows are super highly pigmented they are rich in texture and can be used over matte shadows too. The formula is creamier compared to mattes. And were easy to apply with brush. It has nice pearl finish which stays for 7hrs.
The duo chrome shades gives you ever changing colors. The eyeshadows are not so chunky or dry. It can be used with flat brush or finger tips over the base shadow. You can also use damp brush for more intensity. The glitter eyeshadow is ready to use. You don't have to use damp brush or adhesion for glitter. But this glitter creases as it has little creamy texture and so I would suggest to use a base primer.
Overall I loved the shades specially duo chrome ones. Various skin tone can use this palette. I wish the glitter base shadow to be more long staying. Be careful while you pick the product with your brush as if you apply pressure the product comes out of pan. Its not so pricey as there are 18 shades available in such a sleek palette which can be used while travelling too.

NEW LOREAL X BALMAIN LIMITED EDITION LIPSTICK REVIEW

Hello beautiful gals,

Finally getting my hands on these limited edition balmain babies I really wanted to test them and I found it totally worth the wait.

So this was about last week when I saw them at L’Oreal counters and it was looking so attractive I wanted to get them all. Beautiful classy packaging. It just feels like some of the designer lipsticks. Its definitely going to add that charm in your makeup collection. The entire packaging is designed by OLIVIER ROUSTEING. The entire shade range has edgy colors something which you may haven’t tried in your life.

It really left my pocket empty but I got 3 shades out of the 12 Tailor made designer shade range.

I really appreciate L’oreal being a drugstore brand this time they have got all different models from different ethnic backgrounds. So you have shades for every skin tone from fair to deepest dark tones. It says no matter what origin or ethnic background you have there is a shade for everyone. They are divided into three different tribes.
The Safari which comes in Green packaging is more on a jungle theme. Mainly inspired from amazon jungle.

The Couture comes in black packaging which looks like a signature balmain collection.

The Rock tribe blue packaging inspired from bold, freedom and rebellious women.
The packaging is really interesting it has a L’Oreal logo in front and on side BalmainX logo in gold bold letters.

The packaging has a little marble effect which makes it look more feminine and classy.

Let me describe the three shades

DOMINATION from Couture tribe it’s a rich red color must have for every skin tone one of my favorite from the collection.

CONFESSION much wearable nude shade for fair and medium skin tones.

FREEDOM The name says it all..A rock solid vibrant purple from Rock tribe. Its like dear to wear purple.

These lipsticks are smooth and soft in texture the formula is nondrying and super highly pigmented. It gives a soft matte finish and they last pretty well. It doesn’t settle into fine lines and no smudging of lipstick is observed. It doesn’t transfer much to your coffee cups but you may need touch ups after meals.

It does contain L’Oreal’s signature fragrance which I guess all lipsticks have.

Overall I loved the collection the packaging is amazing these lipsticks are formulated with camellia oil for moisturizing mattes. Ofcourse they are bit pricey as its limited edition designer shades. But its worth trying and adding something beautiful to your collection. I am looking forward to get FEVER shade as its already running out of stock.
