How are you all doing ? Can't believe we are in month of August. Time is just flying rite now and I am trying to catch up with all new things happening in beauty world. 2 months back I was really happy as NYX cosmetics was being launched in India and it was very exciting but as they haven’t launched their stores yet the products are available online. So as you all know that I am obsessed with all type of matte lipsticks but most of the NYX products were out of stock and only I could find were this matte lipsticks in Shocking pink and Euro trash. Last year on my outdoor trip I had got the MATTE LIPSTICK in shade Natural it was just so amazing that I didn’t got chance ever since to try more shade in this range. But now I finally see this two shades. I have used shocking pink lot of time as I was so attracted to bright vibrant orchid shade of this lipstick. While euro trash is something which I have currently started to get obsessed with it’s a brownish pink nude kinda shade. As this shades are very much in trend I never miss to pick this browny nudes. Euro trash can go on almost every skin tone and can be used for everyday.

This lipsticks comes in round black plastic packaging with transparent space in between to show off the color of lipstick inside. Its written in white bold NYX MATTE. It’s a light weight packaging with a twist open tube.

This lipstick have the most amazing texture and formula. The pigmentation is so good that you definitely going to fall in love with it. Its creamy in texture soft and glides so smoothly and evenly that you can barely make out that you are trying to put lipstick. Very highly pigmented one swipe gives complete coverage and opacity. For Pigmented lips a must have matte lipstick. This lipsticks are non drying and doesn’t get powder matte. But gives a smooth moisturised matte effect to lips. Application of lip balm is not required as it keeps lips moisturised but if you have very dry lips you need to put lip balm. Staying power is amazing 5-6 hrs and they are so intense you barely need touch ups. Color pay off is excellent. This is one of the best best drugstore affordable matte lipsticks which such beautiful shades for every women. This lipsticks don’t bleed or smudge. They feel so comfortable on lips when applied throughout the day. They are not kissproof or transfer proof lipsticks.

Overall I loved this lipstick I am obsessed and I completely recommend to try out this shades. Shocking pink is something for cool tones but it such a vibrant shade which you wont easily find in a drugstore brand. This lipsticks are bang on and a must have for matte lovers.

Recently I have been so irregular in my blogging I am trying to post as much as possible but something or the other comes up and we all know the facts of life its never stable and never the same. So not taking much of your time I am finally happy to get a chance to write about Maybelline’s new Blushed Nude palette.

Like Maybelline's previous Nude palette this comes in plastic packaging where you can see all the 12 shades through it. Its totally inspired by urban decay naked 3 palette. All 12 eyeshadows are in rosegold shades which is pretty exciting.

I don’t know how much of you liked Nude Palette but I still use it sometime as it had some really good shades in it. This palettes always remind me of urban decay naked palette. Well the packaging is in rose gold having 12 rectangular eye shadow pans. It doesn’t have mirror but does contain double sided brush having sponge applicator on one side and flat brush on other. The brush is quite long but I really don’t like using this brushes which come in a kit except for while you traveling. With this kit I like using finger to press the pigment on lid or blending brush. This eyeshdaows can be divided into 3 squad comprising of 2 upper row and 2 lower row eye shades. You can use them in quads or individually.

Now coming on to the texture of this shadows 9 shades out of 12 have shimmer in it and rest of them are matte. So if you love shimmery shades you will like this palette. This palette doesn’t go on every skin tone like the Nudes. If you are of fair skin tone almost every shade will work on you. But if you are of medium to dark tone only few shades work well. The texture is powdery when you try to swatch it glides smooth and the formula is not to dry. I feel you need to use eye primer for this palette. The texture is soft but some of the shades are really dry and comes of in chunks which causes lots of wastage. They have some really amazing pigmented shades and some of them are my favorite. This eye shades blend very well on primer. But some of the shades do feel grainy and chunky but once you take them on brush they blend effortlessly.

Some shades are really pigmented while some are less pigmented but none of them are sheer. Some of the shimmer eyeshadow are frosty and so you can use them as eyebrow highlighter or highlighting inner corners.

This palette is very similar to naked 3 palette from urban decay.

If you are looking for some affordable version of naked 3 this is a perfect choice.

You can increase the intensity of eye shadow by using wet brush.

They eye shadows don’t crease much or there are no fall outs.

Out of 3 one of the shades pink taupe was hard to use on crease it was so less pigmented that I had to layer it off 4-5 times.

If you like softer looks on your eyes this palette has all the shades to give you that kinda look.

Overall I do recommend as there is nothing so affordable then Maybelline. I think most of the gals will like it. And also it will make sweet addition to your makeup collection.

Now before I start reviewing LA GIRL PIGMENT Gloss I would like to give you a sneak peak. LA GIRL cosmetics is not an unfamiliar brand we know how amazing concelars they have got. Now this gloss are from a while now in the market and most of them have tried it and not liked still I wanted to try them on and it was just for the amazing shades they had got. I was pretty sure of which shade I wanted. So I decided on two shades Fleur and Bazaar both the shades are top selling in US and that’s what made me want them more. Firstly I was quite stunned seeing matte gloss. How can a gloss be matt not on earth its possible. So I will be mentioning this as a liquid lipsticks. Now they cost only 5$ in US, 7gbp is UK and in india its for 575/-INR which is quite affordable.

Now talking about its packaging it comes in a ordinary tube like many other liquid lipstick but its not long or slim like some of the liquid lipstick tubes. It has a sponge applicator which is not flexible I felt its hard but it helps in even application so it didn’t bothered me. It does have some faint smell which is barely noticeable when on lips. The texture is very thin and wet highly pigmented. Goes very smooth on lips. Color pay off is excellent. They are transfer proof and give a complete matte finish to lips. When coming to formula its super drying. Most of liquid lipsticks are drying and this one lacks moisturising ingredient. The only difference here is liquid lipsticks are thicker in consistency. Now if you have dry lips forget of using them until you exfoliate and put some balm and help your lips stay moisturised. It gives full coverage and opacity mostly in one stroke. But for some of the shades you may need second coat to just avoid any patchiness. It does dry quickly and you cant make any mistakes in application as it will be not easy to take them off. They are waterproof and only comes of with makeup remover. It doesn’t settle into fine lines but it does accentuate fine lines. Like a gloss it doesn’t have any tacky feeling. Formula is light and it only feels dry which makes me uncomfortable for wearing them over long time. Staying power is good until you have your meals because it starts wearing off from the centre. They don’t bleed or smudge. And you cant layer them off or reapply it as it can give you more drier lips you may also have to carry a makeup remover if you really want to reapply it. But as I said seeing all the reviews I just couldn’t take my hand off from this amazing shades. I mean I know the formula is a problem here but really I don’t mind wearing this shade again and again.

Fleur is a teracotta shade more like a warm nude. It doesn’t look washed out on my skin tone. I would say its kinda darker nudes not the one which looks pale on lips. So many different complexions can try them as this can be worn everyday.

Bazaar it’s a beautiful warm mid tone pink. Its so gorgeous one of my favorite shades can work on every skin tone. If you are looking for a decent pink and the one who don’t like wearing bold pink you should definitely try this shades. It looks different on every lips.
