Finally here comes Maybelline The Nudes Palette its a recently launched in India and i am so excited to try this palette. I
will be reviewing this palette today. It’s a beautiful 12 color eyeshadow
palette where you can create neutral day look as well as deep night looks. I was waiting for this palette to launch here
as soon as I heard that its available here I got one for myself. This palette is of
great use you can go with completely Nude look for office or Smokey look for clubbing. So this is a basic palette which I
guess everyone should have in their vanity.
Packaging-
This palette comes with 12 pan eyeshadow in black plastic palette with
transparent lid.
The eye shadows are arrange in such a way that you can use them as squads also and
on back side of palette for beginners there is instruction on how to use this
palette. It also has long two tip sponge applicator. Which can be used for travelling purpose.
This palette contains 5 matte eye shadows, 3 frost eye
shadows and rest are satin eye shadows. Matte shades have dry formula and they
are less pigmented as compared to frost and satin eye shadows. Frosty ones are
really pigmented. While the satin ones are very smooth in application and have
excellent color pay off. In this palette satin eyeshades are my favorite. The
satins ones blend well but the matte ones are bit disappointing as you can not
even build them enough to give you opacity. They are quite sheer and doesn’t
apply smoothly on lids. Staying power is good for satin eyeshades matte
eyeshades give fall out while applying so make sure you use some loose powder
under eyes so that you can dust it off or else it can ruin your foundation.
Some shadows are really creamy and they don’t crease or fade. More than neutral looks i loved creating a brown smokey look with this palette. This is like one of the most affordable drugstore palette having 12 eyeshades.
Why you can still buy this palette I have used this palette 2-3
times and quite happy with the satin shades they almost like high end brand eyeshadows at reasonable price. I still wish all 12 colors were more
pigmented and blend-able. This colors are universal and can go on every skin tone. So girls try out this palette to create different looks.
