THE BODY SHOP CHRISTMAS LIPSTICK CORAL BLUSH REVIEW

04:53:00

Hey angels,
I am back from my short holiday trip feeling totally refreshed. While coming back my flight got delayed I had nothing to do and.. so while looking around I found THE BODY SHOP store at the airport I went in to check out some new stuff. As a beauty blogger I am always keen to get something new for my viewers/readers. Recently Body Shop has  got 2 new range of products for Christmas. There was sparkler in very cute bottle packaging with a pump and Lipsticks well there were only two shades of lipstick available in this range seeing its packaging I couldn't resist buying one of them. Internationally BODY SHOP also has nail paints and eyeshadow quads in this collection. But I couldn’t find them here in india.
The one i picked up is from Coral Crush collection known as Coral Blush. It was bit confusing because there was only shade no at bottom of tube. Coral blush is one of the best selling lipstick from Body Shop. But now they have come up with same shade in different packaging which is inspired by 1920’s.
It’s a black glossy tube having black and gold design cover with embellished body shop symbol.

This packaging is quite festive and it really attracted me. Only two shades available and both are in nudes but I was tempted to buy this particular shade. I am in love with this shade if you looking for something in coral nude for this Christmas this is it. I think its definitely a shade which you can carry out whole year. I loved that while looking for all dark autumn shades I picked up something in warm nudes.

This lipstick is creamy and soft in texture. While it glides smoothly on lips it also adds moisture to lips. The formula is non drying keeping your lips hydrated. Doesn’t accentuate fine lines. It doesn’t even settle in fine lines. Highly pigmented one – two swipes is all you need. I had not applied any lip balm and still it was quite comfortable on lips. It feels light weight and gives almost satin finish when sets off.
It has faint sweet kinda smell which is really hard to notice but i think its similar to other body shop lipsticks.
This lipstick don’t smudge or bleed. It doesn’t dry out your lips. Color pay off is excellent. This shade can best be suited on fair to medium skin tones on darker skin it may appear more nude. I loved that it gave me opacity in one swipe. Its not sheer like other moisturizing lipsticks and so pigmented lips can try on. This lipstick doesn’t smear off.  Staying power is for 5-6 hrs which is pretty good it does not leave stain on my lips.
I have never tried Body Shop lipsticks so this is my first lipstick buy.  I personally always end up buying lot of bath and body stuff from store. I am happy with my lipstick and I overall recommend it. The shade is beautiful warm nude and perfect for day time functions, lunch parties, christmas lunch etc. and it can be used throughout the year as day to day office wear color.
Do you like warm nudes ? Have you tried BODY SHOP lipsticks ? Comment Below.
