How is your week going on? I was talking about new color bar range on my previous post I couldn’t wait to try on their New limited edition Rain Duo Affair Blusher.

The packaging is absolutely stunning I am already taken away by this rose gold palette with water droplets all over it. I wouldn’t have asked for more at such price. Suddenly the colorbar has become the talk of the town. I am still thinking is it a colorbar that we talking about or some high end branded stuff.

The duo affair blusher comes in a rectangular palette with a full size mirror inside it doesn’t come with a brush for application so I wont be able to use while travelling. These duo blush is multi dimensional for defining and highlighting the cheeks like a pro. So there are two shades in the palette one is medium dusty rose shade having warm tones which is used as blush and other is peachy gold color which is to use as a highlighter.

The formula of the blusher and highlighter is quite similar. Well highlighter contains some fine gold glitter which to give a soft glow. While the blusher too contains some shimmer which just adds metallic sheen to it. The pigmentation of this powder is good enough. The color pay off is excellent. You just have to swipe your brush tap it and apply on your cheekbones. It doesn’t give patchy application rather it blends effortlessly on skin. The formula and shade quite reminds me of mac blushers. They don’t give any fall outs neither fades. Stays well for 6-7 hrs. It doesn’t transfer much. The highlighter I wish could be little more pigmented for that extra dimension glow. Still its able to deliver that glow on my face. It doesn’t contain any fragrance. The texture is soft and blendable its neither creamy nor like a matte powders.

Overall recommended. I love the shade which can go well on most of the skin tones. The formula and texture is amazing and can be used on everyday basis. If you are a beginner then you can try this duo affair blush. Its easy to apply and helps to define your cheeks. Also the product is worth the price as you are getting blusher and highlighter in such a beautiful packaging. When compared to mac and other high end brand you may only get one product for this value.
