Hello angels,
The most easy way to get ombre effect is HERE. Yes I am talking about New Launch Smashbox Triple Tone Lipstick. You get Three shades from light to dark in just
one bullet isn't that crazy. I have really never tried to get that perfect ombre lips but when I
had a look on this amazing shades I thought of trying it out. It had 4 shades NUDE OMBRE, BERRY OMBRE, RED OMBRE & SUNSET OMBRE.
I thought of going
with BERRY OMBRE it just looked more striking and practical for creating ombre
effect. I found SUNSET OMBRE too interesting but then i wouldn't be able to carry it often. So lets find out the easiest way to make a makeup statement.

The lipsticks come in black matte tube which looks
classy it opens and shuts with a click. The colors are from light to dark so as
you place lighter color downwards and then just apply on your upper lip when
going for lower lip just switch around and turn the bullet upside down. Now
when I first swatched it on my hand I was totally surprised to see all the
three shades separately with just one swipe. And when you started to blend it
..it didn’t gave me the perfect gradient look. I liked the harsh lines more as
it was more bold & prominent. Now applying to upper lip was really easy
some of you may find lower lip application bit difficult. I would suggest you
to put a equal and even pressure while applying because you may end up with
only 1-2 shades ..though I loved how pigmented they are it also has excellent
color pay off. It completely goes to matte finish. Well in start it was bit
creamy eventually it looked matte. If you want to use it as a single tone
lipsticks just blend or pat with your fingers. The lipsticks stays well for 6-7
hrs gives complete coverage and has no fragrance. It doesn’t accentuate fine
lines or dry patches. But of course it’s a ombre effect so you want to have a
perfect pout with it. These lipsticks don’t bleed or smudge around. The moment
you apply on lips the formula holds on to your lips and feels feather light.
Its definitely not too easy to create ombre lips with just
one lipstick but its still worth trying out. I am totally in love with the Berry shade it will go well on many skin tones.
Overall I loved the concept and it was totally fun.. you can always
use a Q tip for getting better look. The
surface of lipstick is flat and slant to deliver all three tones in one go. I feel
this could get messy if you have thin lips as you may end up applying on your
outer lipline. If you want to reverse the colors like darker shade on centre of lips and lighter shade outer you can just apply upside down.
A big thumbs up for smashbox for trying something so creative and getting it to us. It was really fun to try such product from a high end brand .
