NEW MAYBELLINE MATTE METALLIC LIPSTICK REVIEW

Hello pretty dolls,
Well my last post was
all about NEW Maybelline big shot colossal mascara along with that I also had
got some of the New launch Metallic Matte lipstick which I had completely
forgotten to mention it.
Is the metallic trend still ongoing? After having use this
Maybelline Metallic mattes my answer would be probably if its mattes it yes.
So matte lipstick with metallic effect lets find out is it worth to try out.
Coming in a standard Maybelline sensational lipstick
packaging having a blue cap and silver tube these lipsticks are easy to carry.
They are reasonably
priced 450/-INR for each. It comes in ten shades from which I picked up two.
These lipsticks have smooth texture with no chunks of shimmer.
All shades are pretty good and have matte finish with
metallic effect. It doesn’t transfer
much and has decent lasting power. It can survive meals and drinks with little
touch ups. It’s a nondrying formula feels comfortable on lips
for long hrs.
It contains fragrance which doesn’t bother me. Color pay off
is good and formula is buildable. It gives decent coverage in 1 application. But I
like going twice or thrice for complete opacity. Once it settles down it gives
matte finish.
It doesn’t settle into fine lines neither it smudges.
They are very easy to remove doesn’t stain your lips nor it
leaves any shimmer on lips. It starts fading away after 2-3 hrs so you need to
carry for touch ups.
COPPER ROSE Its one of my favourite pretty rose shade with copper tone. Suitable for all skin tones.
HOT LAVA
It’s a beautiful orangish red tone lipstick which is
suitable for various skin tone.
Overall I did like them but I wish it could have been more
intensely pigmented and to have that extra metallic effect. They have some
unique amazing shades which made me want them. Some of the shades are sheer on
application but buildable. They are moisturizing and light weight and keeps my
lips hydrated for long. If you have pigmented lips it can give you a patchy look
so do try some of the shades before getting them. They have some bold metallic shades
which are good for certain occasions.
