Hello angels,
Its been a long time since I reviewed any new product. Hope
you all doing good.. Time really passes too fast so many things going at the moment
which is keeping me busy. So LAKME ABSOLUTE MATTE MELT LIQUID LIPCOLOR was
launched few days back and it was a complete surprise as finally lakme has
stepped into the world of liquid matte lispticks. There are 8 shades available
in this range I got 3 of them VINTAGE PINK, PEACH ROSE, WILD MAUVE. Like any
other brand this product comes in a clear plastic round tube with a black cap
and doe foot applicator. The formula has a mild fragrance which disappears on
application. So it’s a creamy liquid formula which feels extremely light when
applied on lips. It feels so comfortable like nothing has been applied on lips. The formula stays on for 6hrs including meals barely need
touch ups. It doesn’t smudge or bleed. It turns to velvety matte finish in few
seconds. It doesn’t stain lips. It has intense color pay off. Lighter shades are less
pigmented compared to darker shades. Also the lip shade turns darker once it
sets in. It’s a waterproof formula which come off with only makeup remover. If
you have dry chapped lips you need to exfoliate and moisturize before application.
It does make your lips dry but only to some extent you can always moisturize them before application. It gives complete
coverage in 1 swipe even on pigmented lips.
OVERALL I loved the bold shade range also the packaging is quite
simple and travel friendly. They are reasonable price and all shades are
suitable for Indian skin tone. They are highly pigmented and texture is feather light on lips which lasts longer than any
