I can already feel SPRING 2017 is here. Today i am going to talk about some amazing color eye pencils from MAYBELLINE. I am sure you going to love using them for spring/summer. So here is Maybelline Lasting drama waterproof gel pencil  which has been just recently launched. They have launched 8 shades in this range every shade is so beautiful for spring I totally find them worth buying.

I have purchased 3 shades STRIKING COPPER, GLAZED TOFFEE, SMOOTH CHARCOAL  I am already loving them. All the eye pencils are waterproof and smudge proof.

Even if you have oily upper eyelids its not gonna smudge the liner.

They are of glossy finish and have a creamy consistency. They glide on effortlessly you can use them on upper as well as lower lash line. The colors are super highly pigmented and so intense. Color pay off is excellent.

All shades make your eyes look so bold and vibrant.

The shades are so rich and highly saturated that it becomes so easy to just glide them on water line. No tugging or dragging if you want a little softer look you can use a smudger immediately after application but it sets in very quickly and then its difficult to blend it. It comes of easily with makeup remover. I am looking forward to get all the shades. The texture of pencil is just like a gel liner and does a fantastic job of intense liner.

There was no issues of fading flaking or cracking.The staying power is for 5-6 hrs except for you don’t have super oily lids.

On waterline it does lasts for 6 hrs. Well they claim for 16 hrs stay but as they have glossy finish its very difficult to stay even for 12 hrs. I was just afraid to sharpen them as I thought the formula was softer than any other pencils. Glad I didn’t broke them yet.

Overall recommended. I was quite happy with the pencils I do have oily eyelids but not much still and it stayed well on mine. But if you have more of oily lids I don’t know whether you can use them. By using a eye primer you can make them stay longer. I loved the rich vibrant and full packed pigmented colors.

They are ideal for one who love intense eye look.  I usually prefer matte liner over glossy but the pigmentation of this pencils definitely took my heart away.

Striking copper

Its one of my favorite shades. It’s a beautiful copper having no glitters or shimmers. Will go on most of indian skin tones

Glazed toffee

A choclatey  deep brown shade very pretty for fair to medium skin  tones.

Smooth charcoal

I personally love charcoal grey on my eyes but it can look amazing on fair to medium skin tones.
