Recently I bought newly launched Elle 18 color boost
lipsticks. This is my first experience with Elle 18 lipsticks. I was watching add of Anushka Sharma and
decided to try them out. Looking at the price I purchased 5 shades. There are
10 shades available in this range but most of them I couldn’t get as they were out of stock. I will be
reviewing 5 shades from color boost range today.

I think according to price this are the cheapest lipsticks I
have ever bought till date. I mean 150 bucks for such great colors truly
amazing. They didn’t have any testers I just
looked into the shade card and got this shades. I was not having any idea how
they will turn out to be.
The packaging of lipsticks is quite girlie having bright
pink cover and black tube. They have shade name and no. mentioned at bottom of
lipstick.
The packaging is not travel friendly and you have to handle
with care as lipstick can easily break from the bullet.
Previously elle 18 lipstick had lip balm core now they have
colored core. This lipsticks are quite moisturizing. They have cocoa butter which will help your lips stay soft and supple. Color pay off is
excellent. Glides on smoothly evenly without need of swiping it more than once.
The texture is quite soft and creamy. They feel light on lips giving good
amount of pigmentation. This lipsticks claim to stay for 6 hrs which was not
true. They lasted for around 3-4 hrs which is quite good. Darker shades leaves stain on lips. This
lipsticks are not transfer proof or kiss proof.
They have this sweet kind of vanilla fragrance which is quite
strong and lasts for some time. I don't have any problem with that but some of you don't prefer fragrance in lipstick. They don’t bleed or smudge or accentuate fine
lines. Lighter shades need multiple swipes for even application.
Overall recommended but not easily available and have to be
careful with the packaging. They are still not available online. Teenage girls
can definitely go for this inexpensive yet beautiful lipsticks. Totally impressed by the quality of lipstick.
Red passion
Bright orangish red color. Can go well on warm skin tone.
Hyper orange
Its bright pigmented orange having warm undertones.
Blonde pink
It’s a daily wear light pink color having shimmer in it.
Suitable for fair tones.
Nude beige
This is a perfect warm nude color again every day color. Not
suitable for every skin tone.
Prim rose blush
A dusty rose pink shade having warm tones . Will go on fair
to medium skin tone.
