wonderful weekend . Today I am reviewing Maybelline dream satin two way cake
foundation from recently launched Maybelline rebel bouquet collection. I
haven’t yet heard any reviews about this product so was eager to write about
it.
Maybelline says it’s
a must have product for summer. Lets start with its packaging . It comes in a
pearl shiny finish compact with mirror on one side and a foundation applicator.
I personally don’t like using foundation
applicator which comes with the product because they tend to become unhygienic
and need to keep clean as powder sticks on it . I just use it during travelling
for touch ups. I always like using brushes for such products.
Maybelline claims.

a non cakey and oil free finish.
- Protects
skin from sun with SPF 30+.
- Provides
an extremely fit to skin finish that lasts upto 12 hours.
- Is
5X thinner than other powders, thus giving a finish like second skin.
This two way cake foundation comes in 6 shades I have choose the lightest shade among all which is in BO0. All the shades are based on Indian skin tone except they don’t have shade for very dark skin. It has a beautiful texture when applied on face it just blends into skin like magic. Does not give cakey feel to your skin. It does not make your skin dry but I like to use it as a setting powder over my bb cream or foundation. It gives a matte finish. It has medium coverage when applied alone. It does not look patchy at all even when you have dry skin it does not cling to your skin. It buffs into skin evenly when applied with powder brush.
Now I know why its best for summers it has SPF 32+ PA which helps to protect your skin from harmful sun rays and also keeps you oil free throughout day. When you want more coverage you can apply with wet applicator. It will be best for oily skin specially during summers as it wont clog your pores like other foundation and compact. After application it feels so light on skin truly just like my own skin. It lasts for almost 7-8 hrs you may need touch ups.
I am glad that Maybelline launched this product during summer as its must needed. Its reasonably priced as this product will last you long. I loved this products as I have never used any compact which has so thin texture at the same time giving you coverage.
I recommend to everyone who have oily skin this will help to mattify your skin without clogging pores and for girls having dry skin you can
use them as your setting powder.
