Recently THE BODY
SHOP launched new makeup range called Jacqueline’s Signature line.
I will be reviewing some of the shades from their new 12
MATTE LIP LIQUID from jacqueline's collection.
I personally love liquid lipsticks especially when they are
creamy in texture. The body shop matte lip liquid look quite similar to NYX Matte lip creams. I am a huge fan of NYX MATTE CREAM totally love them and I am
expecting body shop to be the same.

They are available at very affordable prices like 695/-INR
for 8ml. I love that they are cruelty free. The packaging is quite simple clear
tube with black matte cap and a slant tip applicator. You can easily identify
shades as the packaging is clear and not opaque also the shade names are
written on the tube and not at the bottom.
The texture is very creamy almost like a NYX matte lip
creams. I would say the darker shades give more coverage and opacity then the
lighter shades. The lighter shades give little patchy application while darker
shades just need one swipe. The shades I picked up almost have good
pigmentation and color pay off. The formula is extremely light and comfortable
on lips. They give velvety matte finish but doesn’t dry to complete matte. They
are rich in texture and feels luscious soft on lips. It does contain some mild
sweet fragrance which disappears on application. The formula is non drying and
doesn’t accentuate fine lines. Also the formula doesn’t settle into fine
lines. This lipsticks do smudge as they have buttery cream texture but
doesn’t bleed. They are transferrable. The range has shades for every skin
tone some of the shades I picked up are NAIROBI CAMELLIA, SYDNEY AMARYLLIS,
TOKYO LOTUS, GOA MAGNOLIA, TAHITI
HIBISCUS.
The staying power of this lipsticks are 3-4 hrs and they do
need touchups. It doesn’t leave any stain behind.
Overall recommended if you want something which has a
velvety matte texture and which are non drying to lips you can try out. The
shades are really good but some of the formula applies patchy. Compared to NYX
matte lip cream they are not long lasting while the formula is light and
pigmentation is fair enough. They are quite wearable and available at affordable price
range. This lipsticks can be used on everyday basis.

A warm dusty nude
color goes well on light to medium skin tones.
SYDNEY AMARYLLIS
Bright red with warm tones. Suitable to all skin tones.
TOKYO LOTUS
A perfect pink for summer. Most of the girls love this
neutral pink which is quite subtle.
GOA MAGNOLIA
Deep pink having purple tones love this shade looks great on
all skin tones.
TAHITI HIBISCUS
Deep red shade which
goes on most of the skin tones. Good pigmentation.
