Hello Everyone,
I am so pretty
excited to know that finally Bobbi Brown has opened its first store in Mumbai
at Palladium mall. And my first visit to it was simply amazing. This is my first buy from that store and it
was none other then their one of the best selling products which is Shimmer Brick compact
in Pink Quartz. It has almost 6 types of different shades like in Bronze, Nectar,
Beige, Rose etc.. and few of them were already running out of stock. Well i was lucky enough to get Pink Quartz. Okay for all those who don’t know what shimmer brick Compacts
are and how they are used as i would like to give a brief idea.
They come in glossy black plastic compact in square shape
having 5 strips of shimmer powder. The case is light in weight and looks elegant
having a mirror on one side. You can use
single color strip as eyeshadow or whole together as blush or highlighter. They
look like pressed mineralise powders and are very smooth in texture. They are
best known for highlighters.
They have very tiny shimmer particles which just
give a perfect sheen to your cheeks. The shade I have picked up goes with almost all
blush when used as highlighter. It has got pale pink, brown ,beige, frosty
pink, nude almost all colors from brown to pink and so i loved this compact. Pink quartz is also not so
pigmented and so I love using them over a blush they are just sheer giving you a right amount of glow. You can always build this
product as you desire. It blends beautifully in skin. The product does not fade
on even after 6-7 hrs. Love the way it lasted for so long.
I think this
highlighter will compliment every skin tone.You can even use it on daily bases without any blush by just applying little on your cheekbones forehead and nose. I love this brand and this product
is absolutely must have for getting that warm pink glow in summer.
I also loved
bronze in this range for medium to deep tones. Recommended!!
How to Use
Sweep the Face Blender Brush (sold separately) through
all five shades of the Shimmer Brick Compact and dust lightly on cheekbones
after Blush. Focus on applying shimmer on the top of cheekbones—where light
naturally hits the face—for the most flattering look.
