NEW COLORBAR KISSPROOF LIP STAIN IN ROYAL PINK REVIEW

Hello gals,
Hope you all had a great weekend we are almost in the end of
June and the climate is getting so gloomy with thunder showers. What best I can
do is to have a cup of coffee and write about makeup products. So lets not waste more time and move on to our New COLORBAR product which is just being recently
launched. I know many of them are searching for reviews about it and I myself
was searching about before getting hands on it. I couldn’t find much about this
lipstick and so I thought I should share my views on it.
Liquid lipsticks turning to matte are latest trend in makeup
and Colorbar is already following this trend by their previous launch which was
deep matte lip cream. Ok what makes this different is their packaging which is
completely in silver round tube having doe foot applicator.
This one claims to be kiss proof lip stains rather than lip
creams.
My first impression on this product was
There are 8 shades available in this range from pink, red to nude. Last time I had picked up some really bright bold color from deep matte cream range so this time I ended up getting a ROYAL PINK shade which is a very soft pink color almost like everyday color can go on fair medium to dark skin tones. Royal pink is super pigmented color but you have to be care full while applying as applicator picks up to much of product from the tube.

Its super creamy on application drys of in few seconds
giving you powdery matte finish to lips. The application is smooth, even and
gives full coverage.
I found this lip stains
to be quite drying of course I was not using any lip balm but it made me feel
more on drier side. It does accentuate line on my lips. I have never tried using
lip balm with this but I think the formula is not enough moisturising. This lipsticks are very easy to remove. No stains are
left behind. Once it dries of there is no budging smudging or feathering. The
formula is unique and its kiss proof non transferable claim is very true. It
feels very light on lips giving no stickiness. There is no shine to this
stains. They do not contain any fragrance.
Lasting power is for 5 hrs I had applied it for almost whole
day but as time was passing it started to become dull by end of day it came of from some
areas of my lips. I wouldn’t like to retouch this type of lipsticks as it can
give you patchy look.
Overall first I really thought of buying more colors in this
range but when I tried it on my lips I really felt drying and making my lips
look dull after some time. So maybe I wouldn’t buy them again or may be I can
try for some brighter shades in this range.
If you love liquid to matte lipsticks and your lips are not dry chapped
you can definitely try them. The price range is on higher side so invest your
money in really good shade which you would love to wear again and again.
