NEW Lakme 9 to5 Weightless Mousse Foundation Review

02:36:00

Hello angels,
2016 has already begun with Lakme launching their New foundation. This comes from 9 to 5 range its basically a weightless mousse foundation. I haven’t tried their previous 9 to5 range foundation but I do love lipsticks and nail paints from this range. And I was absolutely crazy for Lakme absolute mousse which was such a hit product by Lakme but because of limited shade range I couldn’t use for myself. I am glad Lakme came up with mousse foundation in 9 to 5 range.
It comes in a peach glossy box. This mousse foundation is packed in a peach color opaque slender tube. I liked tube packaging more than a jar so that its good according to hygiene point of view.
This foundation comes in 4 shades.
Rose Ivory
Rose Honey
Beige Vanilla
Beige Caramel
The lightest shade among it is Rose ivory which almost suits my complexion. Rose ivory is for fair skin tone having warm or cool undertones.
This foundation is absolutely amazing. The texture is almost similar to mousse. This foundation is extremely light almost feels like feather when blending in. It just blends effortlessly and makes your skin look smooth like velvet. It has light to medium coverage but almost helps in covering marks to some extent.
It doesn’t help in concealing any imperfections. It’s a foundation for everyday use where you don’t need much coverage. Its weight less so you don’t feel like you have applied anything on skin. If you have good skin with minor imperfection you can just use this. If your skin has lot of acne or marks try using with concelar because this won’t help your skin look flawless.
I would suggest using moisturiser except for your skin is oily. I felt this foundation just melts into skin. You can add layers of this foundation without feeling oily or cakey.
It’s a matte finish foundation but can be used by every skin type. It works great on combination skin too.  This foundation stays for 5-6 hrs I could see it wearing off around my nose after few hrs. My T zone area was bit oily after few hrs of application. You  can apply some loose powder if your skin tends to get oily. This is a everyday use foundation giving you a natural look without making you feel you have applied any makeup. Most of the time I feel lazy to apply foundation and for that reason I love such products which are easy to work with.

Overall product stands up to my expectations. I am happy with my rose ivory shade. Many of you may not find a perfect shade which is a bit of turn off for the product. I wish they good get some more shades because the foundation is amazing. I was not expecting full coverage for this foundation so I am pretty satisfied by the way it looked. The tube is slender so easy to carry while travelling. It didn’t cause me any break outs. Does not feel oily. This foundation has a fragrance which could be annoying for sensitive skin. I liked the smell it reminded me much of Lakme absolute mousse. It s a great product for your everyday use at such affordable price.
