Hey gals,
Hope you all having a great weekend. After a very long time
which was actually not so long I went to check out some products at beauty
store. To my surprise I found this amazing matte lipsticks at Maybelline
counter. Well its almost rainy season and wasn’t expecting any new launch but
here I found this color sensational vivid matte lipsticks and it totally made my day. For my disappointment
there were only 4 shades available SCARLET RED, NEON PINK, VIOLET PINK, ROSY
ORANGE and my heart said ohh I need some more shades to try.. I tried all the 4 shades on my lips and also swatched them on my hand
there was only one shade which was standing out from the rest of 3 and that was VIVID 2 NEON PINK.
This color was so eye catching that I couldn’t think of buying any other
shade.
Neon Pink is bold bright cool tone pink. Its more blue based pink and its nothing like
a warm based pinkie pink. It immediately brightens my face. This is a shade which really
makes your lips grab all the attention. I definitely love bright and bold
shades especially during this rainy gloomy days. There is season where you can
carry off this shade very well. The packaging is similar to color sensational
lipstick it comes in black matte tube and with semi sheer red cap. The shade name is written on bottom of the tube.
I was pretty impressed with the formula it contains jojoba
oil which makes its so smooth in application and moisturizing to lips. The
texture is so light on lips it was comfortable wearing them whole day. The formula is non drying because of it moisturising ingredients. I didn't felt the need of putting lipbalm prior to application of this lipstick. The pigmentation is too good color pay off is
excellent. Doesn’t stain your lips. No smudging or feathering. This lipstick
doesn’t settle into fine lines or cracks nor does it accentuate them. The
finish is somewhere in between matte and semi matte. Glides effortlessly with even application on one stroke. Staying power is 4-5 hrs you need to touch up after
eating or drinking. It doesn't transfer much.
Overall recommended I loved this semi matte formula it gives
great coverage on even pigmented lips.
Price is quite reasonable and the formula is worth what you
spend. They are available online I will link it down below. Also I would recommended
vivid2 and vivid 3 shades they are totally worth trying.
