You heard right
Maybelline has come with New range of Vivid Matte lipsticks. I am a complete lipstick junkie especially when it comes
too matte lippies. I picked up 3 shades which are so different from usually
what I pick.
There are no shade names only code no. Vivid 8 Vivid12 Vivid 14
They come in silver glossy tube with red frosty cap.
I usually like Maybelline packaging as its one of my favourite drugstore brand.
Most of you are familiar with the range of products they
offer. So moving on to review.
This lipsticks are creamy in texture so they apply smoothly
and evenly on lips. You don’t have to drag them as it glides effortlessly. They
feel so light and comfortable on lips. I was really impressed with the formula
as it was non drying and gave me a perfect semi matte to satin finish. Color
pay off is too good. It give complete opacity in 1-2 swipes. It gives coverage
to pigmented lips as well. I really liked how pigmented and soft this lipsticks are. They also made my lips appear softer without lip balm. They don't settle into fine lines. the product doesn't even cling on dry lips.
Staying power well this are transferrable but not completely
and lasts for 6 -7 hrs. Darker shades leaves a beautiful pink stain. It fades
away from the Centre of lips and you may need touch ups after meals.
Matte 14 It’s a peachy nude shade this looks amazing for
lighter skin tones. It can make you look pale if you have yellow undertones and
also it can look washed out for medium to dusky skin tones.
Matte 12 This is one of my favorite shade a warm mid tone pink shade. It’s a classy shade for everyday use. This is suitable for fair to medium skin tones. though it may look like a pinky nude on darker lips.
Matte 8 A perfect shade for autumn evenings. It’s a purple
toned dark fuchsia shade which can be suitable for all skin tones.
OVERALL RECOMMENDED I am already using them for a week and I absolutely love this lipsticks. If you love mattes and don't want to go with liquids or something which makes your lips dry also if you like having softer mattes or semi mattes then this are best to choose from. When I compared with avon true matte I liked this lipsticks more. available at affordable prices and you get 12 shades to choose from.
