Hello beautiful,
When it comes to lipstick I never have enough of them and so
while checking out some new products I came across NEW MAYBELLINE POWDER MATTE
LIPSTICKS I was wondering whether I had tried them before but looking at 8
gorgeous shades I realize this are the new ones. Maybelline always comes up with new range of matte lipsticks and you gals know how much I love using
mattes. I feel like the trend is never going to end. Mattes always last forever
agree?
Coming back to powder mattes I have got two beautiful pink
shades UP TO DATE AND PINK SHOT.
PINK SHOT is a cool tone blue pink I would say a Barbie
pink. This pink stands out from rest of all pink lipsticks you ever had. Will be
suitable for fair to darker skin tones.
Up to date is a bright warm berry pink shade. Its suitable
for all skin types. I personally loved this shade alot. It makes my teeth look
whiter ;))
The lipstick
packaging is similar to creamy mattes here the cap is replaced by frost dark pink
color. Rest all is same. They do have a mild sweet fragrance which almost
disappears on application. When compared to soft mattes these lipsticks are
more of a matte finish. They glide effortlessly on lips.
The formula is bit drying so make sure you have moisturized
your lips before the application. The formula clings on to dry lips. Also they
are not so heavily pigmented like creamy mattes. Up to date shades is intensely
pigmented and gives excellent color pay off while Pink shot needs multiple
swipes for desired opacity.
When applied it gives complete coverage and does last for
4-5 hrs. Darker shades do leave a stain on lips. They do not transfer much.
The texture is so soft and the formula is extremely light to
wear for long hrs. It almost feels like nothing has been put on lips.
It definitely gives a powder mate finish to lips. It doesn’t
smudge or bleed.
OVERALL RECOMMENDED firstly they are so reasonable priced
matte lipstick. Also they give powder matte finish without making your lips
dry. They feel extremely comfortable for long hrs of wear. Also it gives bit of hydration to lips. If you love mattes and not comfortable with liquid mattes this are really easy to work with. HAVE YOU TREID THEM YET?
