Hello angels,
We all know that hydration is a key for perfect skin. Almost
every skin expert advice us to have enough of water intake and proper
moisturizer for a flawless skin. We tend to use lots of makeup which may or may
not be hydrating to skin and so we have to always use a additional moisturizer.
Here LAKME has introduced SKIN NATURAL HYDRATING MOUSSE FOUNDATION so now you
have your makeup with 60-70% of water in it.
This mousse comes in a black plastic pump bottle similar too
Lakme absolute illuminating foundation.
It has a citrus fragrance in it which I totally love I feel
it’s a signature fragrance for Lakme absolute foundation. There are ONLY 4 shades available, for my skin tone IVORY CREAM was the only option. The texture is soft mousse like which blends into skin effortlessly. You can use your fingers or brush to blend in. It doesn't conceal my dark circles but it does help to cover some of my acne marks. This foundation is extremely lightweight and comfortable. It could be more hydrating to give a little dewy skin.
This foundation is best for normal to combination skin type. Well for dry skin additional moisturiser may be needed and for oily skin this can be used with a finishing powder. I have a combination skin
and I feel my T ZONE gets oily after few hrs of application. Its better to use a loose powder to
set the foundation on TZONE. It gives light to medium coverage. For me its more like a natural finish foundation. The formula is buildable
but for everyday use I like applying just one layer.
It doesn’t give matte finish and little quantity is enough to cover entire face or neck. This foundation doesn’t have any SPF. So you
will have to wear your spf separately.
If you have dry skin this product will cling on to dry
patches. The formula doesn’t settle into fine lines. Though it creases around
the nose and smile lines.
The formula is not long lasting for oily skin but for normal to dry skin or combination skin it stays well for 5-6hrs. The formula is non comedogenic.
OVERALL I am really confused whether I like this foundation or not its basically for girls who wants a natural finish with not much coverage and for everyday use. Also for girls who are already blessed with normal and almost clear skin. Though you can always use a concelar over it. Well for me it does look cakey when I apply more quantity. I wish it could be more hydrating so its easy to build the product on to skin.
