Tried & Tested L’Oreal Color Riche Lipsticks

Hey gals,

Happy thanksgiving to everyone. Today I will be reviewing 2 more lipsticks from L’Oreal Color Riche Range. Its going to be short and sweet if you want to know more details about COLOR RICHE lipstick you can check on my previous post where I have talked about Manolia irreverent shade from this range.

So I just went on for holiday shopping and picked up two more shades which are Blush Fever and Carmin St. Germain.

Blush fever is more like a day to day color its dusty rose pink. This lipstick has lots of shimmer but when applied on lips this shimmer just adds sheen to lipstick making it more lustrous. Its sheer compared to other color riche lipsticks so you may have to build this color.

St. Carmin Germain has no shimmer and it’s a creamy highly pigmented lipstick. The color is more like a darker red having cool tones its intense a perfect evening shade for this holiday season. Its great color to for wedding parties and festivals.

This lipsticks are rich in color and give opacity in just one swipe. Though I like to apply two swipes for proper application. They are quite moisturizing to lips. Its a non drying formula. It doesn’t bleed or smudge. But as you go for darker colors i recommend using lip pencil. They feel light on lips. No lip balm or gloss required. Carmin st. Germain do leave a pink stain on my lips which is difficult to remove. They have got sweet fragrance which does not annoy me.

This lipsticks are quite luxurious and creamy they do transfer partially. This lipsticks stay on for 5-6hrs for lighter shades you may need touch up while darker shades stay for much longer. You can even soak the excess of product by dabbing tissue.

I am totally impressed with this lipsticks. I love using blush fever on everyday basis its light subtle and can suit most of skin tones. While Carmin St. Germain is intense darker red which I like using it for occasions.

NEW L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim Review

I am so excited that finally L’Oreal has launched Super Liner Perfect Slim in different colors. I still remember during my college days I had almost every single color eye pencils. I never ever used black liners. Black seemed to me little boring. I loved playing with color liners and kohls on eyes. And it has been really long time that I have bought any color pencils or liners. So I am really excited to try this L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Blue and Green color. I already have one in black and its super amazing. Now there are two colors available beside black that is blue and green.

They are in usual identical black packaging having respective color caps . So you can easily identify blue and green colors.

It’s a felt tip liner which appears very sharp. The tip is super fine and long. Its hard on tip which actually helps in giving a precision line. The black one is still working for me so this liners don’t get dried. I really loved the colors they turn to semi matte once it dries off. Application is really precise and it helps me create a thin wing liner. I liked blue its more kind of navy blue not a electrifying blue so you can easily carry them off. They are not runny or watery it hardly takes sec to get dry.

This liner does not flake or smudge. It stays on for all day. The precision tip o.4mm which really helps in getting a line closest to lash line. I tried using it on my lower lash line of course not on water liner but on lower lash line and I was impressed to see that it didn’t smudge it looked beautiful. There was no trouble in applying except for that i don't poke the liner into my eyes. My eyelids tend to get oily but this didn’t made the liner smudge. The colors are intense and one swipe gives opacity but I observed that when I was finishing my eyes the tip really didn’t work for me. There was less saturated color which made me worried. I always keep my liners with tip down in holder. So that the tip don’t get dried. With green liner I observed that when I went over and over again the color was coming off. So I don’t recommend going over and over again with this liners. If you want to perfect your liner by putting a second coat then let the first one get dry. If you have deep set eyes this will really help you get super fine simple eyeliner look. if you don’t love much thick wing liners or you looking for some color then this are really great. They are not waterproof so it can come off easily even with water.

This colors are really vibrant and looks beautiful. Doesn’t look glossy at all. Some of the blue liners appear like black when seen from distance. But this one really looks like blue. They will really add some color to your look.

I overall recommend this color felt tip liners. They are really precise sometimes difficult to work with but worth the money. You may not find such colourful liners with such precision tips in the market at better price than this. Green liner is such a festive color you can play them with golden and copper eyeshadows. Its a perfect holiday color which can go with many different lip colors. Its also going to be a wedding season so you can try something different by adding this color liners.

Today I will be reviewing L’Oreal paris white perfect magic white double whitening eye cream. This cream comes from white perfect cream range. I have also heard lot of good reviews about the L'Oreal youth code eye cream. Firstly as the name says double whitening i was bit excited to try this out. Secondly I was also running out of eye cream. I make sure to use eye creams before sleep as it helps to hydrate my skin around eyes. Generally we all ignore the fact that skin area around eyes is much thinner than facial skin and it requires more hydration. Its very important to massage around your eye area using a cream on your fingertips in clockwise and anticlockwise.

This cream comes in a blue and white tube having a box packaging. It costs 600/- for 15 ml which is quite affordable compared to eye creams from high end brands .

Its basically creamish white color cream when applied under eyes it spreads evenly and smoothly giving a feel of velvety finish. It instantly lightens your dark circles. It also helps blurring the fine lines. I don’t know how its effective for long term use because I just started using it and since week i haven't found any major difference with my dark circles although i don't have much. But for instant results this cream definitely helps brightening your under eye area. It quickly gets absorbed in skin doesn’t make it feel greasy. You can use this cream in day as well as night. It helps hydrate your under eye area. The texture is very light and smooth. It doesn’t contain any SPF. This cream doesn’t have any fragrance. If you using for day time you may need to use this under sunscreen. You just need a drop and apply to contours of your eyes. It contains caffeine which is antioxidant and has opti blur technology which immediately blurs dark circles, puffiness and fine lines. You need very little amount for every time use. So this tube will last you long.

Overall recommended I liked the cream texture it completely melts into skin. It was light and non greasy. My under eye area appeared smooth even and bright after application. If you looking for something which helps instantly to lighten your under eye area this can be worth the try.

Today I will be reviewing newly launched L’Oreal paris Matte Magique transforming powder. First of all let me tell you all that I was a big fan of L’Oreal Matte Magique soufflé which was later on discontinued. I use to apply it every single day. And now after long time L’Oreal came up with Matte Magique powder which belongs to same range of Matte Magique souffle.

L’Oreal has almost all powder compact range in 1000/- INR but to my surprise this one was just for 399/-INR which was quite reasonable compared to True Match and Infallible powder.

There are 6 shades available in this I got the light one which is N2 nude vanilla its for fair skin having yellow undertone according to Mac shading system this is for NC20-NC25.

What product claims-

The outer packaging is of pink metallic paper box and the product comes in a round transparent plastic case with two compartments . It comes along with the puff and mirror in one of the compartment while other has a powder.

The thing I most loved about this product is that it contains SPF 34pa++

That means it s gonna protect your skin from harmful sun rays. It also clamis to have VOLCANIC PERLITE a natural yet powerful sebum absorbent.

I also have Maybelline dream satin compact but I found L’Oreal shades more suitable to my skin and I liked its packaging too it was very attractive then the Maybelline ones. I am using this powder from almost 15 days and i observed that it was great for my combination skin as it helped to mattify my T zone.

Lets talk about its texture . This particular compact has won my heart the powder glides on so smoothly blends into my skin completely. When I am not using any foundation powder sticks to my skin without giving any dryness and patchy look .

I also loved using this as a setting powder. This compact which can be used on everyday basis by normal to oily skin. I don’t use puff for application most of the time I use a powder brush for smooth even application. After application skin don’t feel cakey or powdery even when you have used them over foundation it completely mattifies the skin. I also use them under my eyes to set concealer as it’s a yellow tone powder. It gives light to medium coverage does not cover dark spots. It claims to 12H Shine free which is not true. I have a oily Tzone and after few hrs of application my forehead and chin started getting oily. But it was not too shiny. It also manages my skin too look pores less and even toned. Its is a sweatproof and waterproof powder so you can use them on sunny days too.

Overall recommended its totally worth the price having good number of shades which can suit Indian skin tone. The packaging makes it look pricey which is a good thing. You can use it everyday as it contains SPF too. There is not much cons about this product except for if your skin is combination to oily it wont keep you Shine free for long time. Still when you do touch up it gives your skin matte effect again.
