NEW LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATING EYESHADOW PALETTE AND PRECISION ARTIST EYELINER REVIEW

If you read my previous post in which I had mentioned about NEW LAKME ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATE AND SHINE RANGE it was recently launched in Lakme Fashion Week 2016. I have already reviewed Lakme Absolute Shimmer lipsticks. And today I
will be sharing my views on Illuminating Eyeshadow Palette in Gold as well as PRECISION ARTIST EYELINER in Burnished Brown.
I was really excited to see Lakme coming up with such beautiful eyeshadow palette as they always had this quads and trio eyeshadows. I was not expecting lakme will have their own proper eyeshadow palette. Also I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 shades
in Artist Precision Eye Liner I got one in Burnished Brown I have added its review on later part of my this post.
So talking about this eyeshadow palette it had Silver and Gold shades and I got my hands on Gold palette. I loved that amazing pastel gold shades its basically a warm tone palette and will be easy to use on Indian skin tone. This eyeshadow comes in classic glossy black compact having a full size mirror on one side. Its very compact and can be used for travelling purpose. There are 6 shades inside the palette which come in round shaped pan. It also comes with a two sided sponge applicator.
As all of the shades are warm toned they will be of great use for everyday look. Also it can be used for summer wedding were you don't want lots of eye makeup. The colors are really subtle and layering them will give intense bold look. I will definitely be posting a look on instagram using a complete range of products. This eyeshades are not completely matte they are of satin finish. None of this eyeshadows contain any shimmer.
This are smooth on application and very well
pigmented. You definitely need to add few layers to get desired level of
opacity. The texture is soft and not so powdery there was not much fall out.
Staying power is pretty good but I always use a base primer so that stay well
without creasing. If you got oily lids
they are bound to crease. They shades when well used does give illuminated eye
look. I think I am pretty happy and satisfied by this palette. The shadows don’t
crack or break while applying.
Now coming on to Burnished Brown Precision Eye Artist Liner. Its basically a retractable pencil. I love wearing brown pencil during summer they have become my current favourite. There are 3 shades available BLUE SAPPHIRE, EMERALD and BURNISHED BROWN. The pencil is quite sleek and long. For an instance it looked like a felt tip liner. But this are retractable pencils. They also have color code at bottom of pencil. So it makes lot easier to identify shades. Burnished brown is a beautiful brown shade having some gold shimmer. They are smooth soft and creamy on application. Goes effortlessly on upper as well as lower lash line. It can be used on waterline too it doesn't cause watering of eyes. There is no need of tugging or dragging it goes with ease.. I am completely obsessed with this shade. I can almost use this every single day. It’s a waterproof pencil and doesn’t smudge around even if you have oily lids. I thinks its one of the best staying power pencil I have come across. This sets really fast on to lids so its difficult to blend or used as smudge eye look. Staying power 8-9 hrs. Doesn’t crack or fade away the shimmer don’t get on your crease. Completely recommended. They come of easily with a makeup remover.
TIP- If you want to create wing liner with this pencil try using angular brush to shape your outer edge of liner.
Overall I loved the eyeshadow palette the pastel shades are really great for everyday use and precision artist liner is one of the best. Artist liner are bit pricey but after using it everyday its totally worth spending... I am a lipstick lover but this liner and palette are my favourite from Illuminate and Shine range.
