Hello angels,
I have been really busy these days and that's the reason I am not able to post
on regular basis. I have so many new products to share with you all. And one of them I am going to share today its NEW Maybelline super stay 24 hr liquid 2 step lipstick in Everlasting Wine, Keep it Red and Timeless Rose.
There are 8- 10 shades available from nude to pinks and red. This lipsticks are in form of liquid and come in a white tube packaging where one end it has lip conditioner to moisturize your lips and on other end it has liquid lipstick in clear tube. I did like the packaging and its more convenient as you don’t have to carry a lip balm separately. It has a flat sponge applicator. This lipsticks are super pigmented and have small shimmer particles. But they are not visible after application. This shimmer adds that sheen to lipstick so it doesn’t look like dull matte lipsticks. Within 1 min of application it gives a complete matte effect. Yes it gives a powdery matte with little sheen. Now if you are not use to liquid lipsticks this could be little discomforting. They are drying to lips and the formula just holds on to your lips like a glue. This are waterproof and kissproof. They don’t smudge or bleed neither it fades away even after meals. Staying power is something I have been looking for it. As it claims to stay for 24hrs no one practically keeps it for 24hrs so I tried to keep it for max hrs and it stayed on for 8 hrs. It doesn’t come of with any makeup wipes it needs proper makeup remover. And still its difficult to take them off. It doesn’t leave any stains on lips. Doesn’t contain any fragrance. If you apply lipbalm and then lipstick it doesn't stay and completely comes of. So you need to apply lipbalm over it to give a glossy finish and some what moisturise it. This lipsticks feel sticky just like a glue but once you put lip condition stickiness goes away completely.
I am not so happy with this lipsticks as I feel little
uncomfortable on daily basis but truly they have amazing staying power and its
great for parties and weddings where you don’t need to reapply them again. You can
not layer this lipstick as it can get chip off. They do have lip condition on
other side which is very soft and moisturizing to lips which when applied over the
lipstick it just makes it comfortable to wear for whole day. It adds lot of sheen to lipstick.
Overall it’s a highly pigmented liquid lipstick at
affordable prices. The only thing I didn’t like that it made my lips feel dry
and it was difficult to remove them. The formula sticks to lips like a glue. The texture is light and applies evenly on lips.
So if you don’t have cracked or chapped dry lips and need a long staying
matte lipstick you can try them out. They have beautiful shades which can go on various skin tones. I really liked the timeless rose and Keep it red . Everlasting wine was bit patchy when applied and I didn't like its finish.
EVERLASTING WINE
It’s a deep wine shade just like a a vampy color. You
can wear them for evening parties and dinner. It can go on warm tones as well
as cool tones.
Keep it RED
Its bright warm red. If you love reds this is a perfect
matte red.
TIMELESS ROSE
A soft muted rose pink shade. Has shimmer in it. Will go on
various skin tones. This is not dark shade and can be carried on usual
days.
