Today I am going to review The Balm Meet Matte Huges Mini Long Lasting Liquid lipstick set which is a limited edition 2016 holiday
collection. I know we are in 2017 and I should have reviewed this long
back. I had placed an order 4 weeks back and unfortunately I received it now it was from
lookfantasic and I am not at all happy with their service as they had told me
it will be delivered in 10 days.
I really had to email them as where my product is. Anyways now
I finally got it and couldn’t wait to swatch them so here is my take on this
kit.
First of all it’s a mini lipstick tube with a doe foot
applicator they are so easy to carry also you can carry them in your wallets & pockets. The packaging is really cute.
There are 6 shades in this kit and all are pretty amazing.
I had never tried matte huges so this one was nice that I
can try all 6 shades at once.
The shades are so wearable also its great idea to gift someone who haven’t tried liquid lipsticks yet.
All the shades are so flattering on my skin tone also I feel
they can be used for various skin tone.
Coming to formula its creamy and thick dries out in just few sec to give
complete matte effect.
Its kind of powdery matte but the application is smooth soft
and even.
It doesn’t fade neither it smudges around.
Now this lipsticks doesn’t give that dry uncomfortable feel
to lips. They are easy to do touch ups also they don’t transfer and are kiss
proof. Its very easy to remove them without having mess.
I was very comfortable wearing them for whole day. The
texture feels extremely light soft. It doesn’t crack or cling to dry patches. Also
it doesn’t chip off from the lips. Even the red shade is such a subtle which
can be carried by various skin tone.
On my lips it lasted for 6-7 hrs which is quite long lasting
including light meals and drinks. It has a minty chocolaty fragrance which disappears
on application.
Overall recommended you can totally try this 6 shades before
going on for big size. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and some of the
shades I will be getting a full size. If you have never tried liquid lipstick this has really comfortable formula. My favourite shade is DOTING & CHARMING
