NEW SHADES COLORBAR MATTE TOUCH LIPSTICK REVIEW

Hello beauties,
I seriously don’t remember when last I posted a review on lipsticks .. Here I got some of the Summer shades from colorbar. I got 3 NEW shades from Matte touch lipstick collection CLOSE AFFAIR, STAR DUST & SOUL KISS. The packaging is quite simple and travel friendly. The shade code and name is written on the bottom of tube. It comes in silver glossy tube with a silver card box packaging.


The texture of this lipsticks is creamy and quite moisturizing. Once the lipstick sets in it gives a semi matte effect which doesn’t transfer much. These lipsticks have long staying power and barely need touch ups after meals. It does contain sweet fragrance but doesn’t last for long. It doesn’t contain any shimmer or glitter like the old shades from this range. Coming to its pigmentation they are quite highly pigmented and give excellent color pay off. I was totally in love with the formula when I first tried out it gave me enough coverage in just one application. Firstly it did felt moisturizing and once the lipstick was set it had a complete velvety matte effect. The formula can cling on to dry patches so make sure you exfoliate your lips for better even application. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines. Nor the formula settles into fine lines. The formula doesn’t bleed or smudge it stays on for long time.

CLOSE AFFAIR It’s a beautiful peachy nude shade having brown tones. Suitable for fair to medium skin tones. A perfect everyday color.
SOUL KISS – I wanted this shade from a long time a perfect pink for Indian skin tone. It just brightens my complexion.
STARDUST- Its one of the mauvy shade which you want to have in your vanity. All skin tones can carry out this shade.
Overall Recommended these lipsticks are light weight having creamy texture and velvety matte finish. It doesn’t dry out my lips keeps them hydrated and feels extremely comfortable. They are rich in color and give complete opacity for one stroke. There are various shades available and are much reasonably priced.

    Can you please let me know shade number for Star dust? I found it online but shade picture is very different from the one I see in your post. So just want to make sure that I am getting the right buy.
