New Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation Review with Makeup Look

Welcome back to my blog I update my blog every two to three
times in a week so keep checking for latest updates on products. Today I m
writing about recently launched drugstore foundation that is Maybelline dream
satin liquid foundation which is a part of their newly launched Rebel Bouquet
collection . I am also including how to get look using Maybelline products which is mentioned below. Previously I wrote reviews on Maybelline dream satin powder, Rebel bouquet lipsticks, Colossal liner and Color Show Go Graffiti. Maybelline dream liquid foundation come in 6
different shades. My shade is in 02
Porcelain which is shade for fair skin having pink tones. The packaging
is in slim glass bottle with a pump which i think is good according to hygiene
concern. Pump dispenser gives control over the product. So you can avoid wasting your product.

liquid mousse formula that has been air-whipped for a completely poreless
finish to give you skin as smooth as satin. This formula never allows the skin
to clog and makes it breathable at all times.

This foundation has thick and creamy consistency rather than liquid.
You may require 2-3 pumps for entire face. This foundation has a smooth satin
like texture. and when applied on skin it does not feel heavy or cakey.
It just blends into skin like air whipped mousse. It was not difficult to blend it into skin provided your skin is well moisturised. It
feels light on skin and can be used on daily basis .
It is medium coverage foundation does not cover blemishes
completely. You can build this foundation to give high coverage but i don't recommend as it can make your skin look dry and patchy. Its oil free
foundation which is good for oily skin and does not clog pores .
I have used this foundation for almost 8-9 hrs and it’s a
pretty long lasting foundation. I had not used primer and at end of the day I could
see foundation wearing of near my chin and nose area. I could see streaks of
foundation near my corners of lips. Without any touchup it lasts for 5 hrs and
I think with primer it can last you for more hrs.
This foundation is in between matte and dewy look giving you
more of natural finish. Maybelline claims its super blend-able foundation
covering all your pores and imperfections well if you have dry skin it can give
you patchy dry look so apply a good moisturiser and primer. It does help you cover your pores but only till some extent.
Its also good for sensitive skin as it does not contain any
fragrance and it’s a dermatologically tested.
I just felt that it should have been more thin liquid like so that it
would be super blend-able on dry skin too. As its thick it clings on to dry
patches of your skin which i didn't like it.
Overall recommended for normal to oily skin this foundation
will last you longer and it’s at affordable price than the usual Revlon ,
L’oreal, Bourjois foundation.

How to create this Look using Drugstore products MAYBELLINE
I have created a look
using most of the Maybelline products from Rebel Bouquet Collection. I almost
have all products from rebel bouquet collection so thought of doing this dewy
glowy kind of summer look. Moreover I was excited to see how this foundation and powder from
new range works on me.
I loved the way this look turned out to be I personally
think its perfect fresh glowy summer look. My glossy lip color gives a bright
vibrant touch to whole look. For girls who don't want to contour and highlight this look can be carried in daytime as well as night time. It will go on almost every skin tone. The products I have used are listed below. Few simple steps to achieve this look.
First of all I sprayed some Mac Fix+ on my face to prep my skin and to give some hydration then i took 2
pumps of Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation and blended on to my face
working from center of the face to outwards using SIGMA Flat Kabuki Brush.
I have used my favorite Mac NW20 concealer and set it with Ben nye banana powder.
I filled up my eyebrows using Mac espresso eye shadow using
angular brush from Mac and setting it with mac brow set gel.
I applied MAC Painterly Paint Pot on eyelids first as base. I have used Maybelline eye studio eye shadows on eyes for some shimmer and
with Maybelline colossal liner it was easy to create a wing liner.
Completed my eye look with several coats of Maybelline Big Eye Falses mascara on upper and lower lashes. I have put Ardell lashes in natural its optional.
For setting up my foundation I used Maybelline dream touch
powder.
I wanted my cheeks to glow so I added Dream touch Blush on
apple of cheeks using sigma brush or you can even use fingers. I just love this
blush it blends into skin like dream. This blush also acts like a highlighter so
I did not use any highlighter.
I have not used any bronzer or contouring powders as I
wanted to really keep it simple and easy to do.
For lips i used REB 04 from REBEL BOUQUET collection its
bright coral glossy color which was perfect for this look.
Hope you all enjoy getting this look its quite simple and less time consuming all you need is maybelline products which are easily available at affordable prices.

Hii.. I am confused which foundation I shud buy.This satin skin or fit me range foundation. When I travel outdoors my skin gets tan. I need help as I want to use fr wedding. Which will be suitable with conturing.
