YESS!! finally after seeing posts of Maybelline Velvet Matte lipsticks on Insta I have got them. I have been so busy with work that haven’t got a chance to use them until now when I am finally writing about it. So girls Maybelline is always up every month with their new product launch. And when it comes to matte lipstick I am always inn for it. After trying L’Oreal matte lip creams I was more excited to try these ones as I have been enjoying using L’Oreal lippies.

Anyways coming to the packaging of Maybelline Velvet Matte lipsticks by color sensational.

This lippies comes in see through tube with black cover having doe foot applicator almost similar to color sensational lipglosses.

You can see all the lipstick colors from tube without having to open them up. They are travel friendly pocket size and can easily fit in your bag. I really liked the packaging. I am happy that the price of this lippies are not so high like other brands. Its like everyone can afford them and instead of going for just one shade you can pick up 2-3 from this range. The formula is very exciting as they moisturise your lips with velvet matte finish. There are 8 shades in rich mauve, chic pink, classy red and vibrant orange. I got them in Matt01, Matt06, Matt10 this codes are bit confusing but as there are limited shades it won't be a problem.

They glide smooth on lips having buttery cushion like texture. It has got sheen when freshly applied. After application it doesn’t immediately turn out to matte it takes few mins to settle. Few mins later once it dries out to some extent it gives a velvety matte finish. Its more like a satin finish lipstick. They don't dry completely giving a chalky feel. So your lips are going to stay hydrated. They are not at all like sticky glosses. Neither they are so creamy or like powdery matte lipsticks.

It applies like a dream so pigmented one swipe and you are done with it. Color pay off is excellent. It gives opacity to even pigmented lips. I loved how super pigmented this lippies are.

They do not have any fragrance.

They hydrate moisturise your lips that means however dry your lips are you don’t need to apply lip balm underneath. It feels so comfortable and ultra light on lips. Does not flake no budging or smudging of this lippies. They don’t bleed so no need of putting any lip liners. These are not transfer proof lipsticks.

I would say this are easy to go kind of lippies. So whether you are working women or college gal its going be very handy to use. It stays on for 3-4 hrs including meals. Does not leave stain. They don’t settle int fine lines. The color are really bright and bold. And I can say great to use as fall colors.

Overall I am totally impressed. Inspite of not being a matte lipstick I loved these lipsticks for its formula and rich pigmented colors. Gals do try out this lippies I don't want you to miss them. They are quite affordable. This lippies are going to be perfect for winter they will keep my lips moisturised. I am also looking forward to get a classy red shade from this range. Matte 1 A beautiful Pink color which is not to bright when applied. It’s a pink which everyone would like to wear.

Matte10 this is girlie pink having lavender to it. It’s a cool tone color but will look great on almost every skin tone. If your are bored of your routine pinks try this one.
