MY NEW DIOR NUDE SKIN GLOWING MAKEUP

Hello angels,
Its time for another weekend. Always love buying high end
foundations having fancy glass bottles with fancy names. So this time I got to
pick up Christian Dior Nude Skin Glowing Makeup SPF 15 which is one of the high
end sheer coverage foundation.
It comes in square shaped glass bottle with silver metallic
cap. This bottle comes in Dark Blue glittery box packaging. This bottle is
quite heavy to carry and so I wouldn’t say its travel friendly. But yes the packaging is quite decent and i liked it. It has pump which
gives me a decent amount of foundation. I need 2-3 pumps to cover my whole face
and neck. You can apply this foundation using damp beauty blender or foundation brush. You can get sheer to medium coverage by building up the product.
When I first tried this foundation on my face it almost felt like my second skin. The texture is smooth blending was bit difficult for me and if you
have a dry skin I would advice you to prep your skin with some moisturiser. The consistency is like liquid but not runny more like creamy liquid. It evens out my tone completely giving decent coverage. I didn't felt the need to build coverage. It helps to cover any redness or minor blemishes. This foundation is for daily use as its not
high coverage foundation you can use this in place of your BB creams. I would
say this foundation can be ideal for oily to combination skin. Its almost
weightless and feels like second skin. It has got broad spectrum SPF 15 so you may have to use additional SPF. They have lots of shade to match with your skin
tone. My shades is 020 when compared to MAC NW 20. It’s a perfect shade which matches my neck and body. Gives me a little pink tone. It does give me luminous glow but if you have dry patches it can cling
on. You don’t need to apply loos powders or compact for setting it although I
had applied sum powder over my T zone. It stayed on for 7-8 hrs which was pretty
amazing. I couldn't find any streaking or flaking over my face. Although at the end of the day i could see foundation wearing off around nose area.
It does contain some fragrance which can be irritating for your skin. I
woulds say it’s a lot more pricey then I expected it too be. If I compare to MAC Studio Fix Fluid then
mac is much cheaper giving a full coverage foundation. I absolutely love MAC but for
daily use I don’t like having full coverage foundation so I would go with the dior one which I think its worth the money I spent on it. It’s a good foundation for hot and humid
weathers too. I never pick up dewy finish foundation as it can make me look more
oily greasy. It does not have a complete dewy finish neither its matte its somewhere in between which gives me fresh feel through out the day. I have oily T zone so i like using some loose powder.
I definitely recommended if you need a sheer to medium
coverage foundation with moisturising properties. Its kind of luxury makeup which justifies the price. If you have good complexion with minor blemishes it
can give you good coverage. It has low spf so it will give you good photograph without white
glare. Its expensive product so you need to try out the shades and think twice
before spending money on this.
